What it’s about: Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road, facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice.

Okay, listen, apocalyptic lesbians. An epic romance! When I first played this final season, I was very surprised that we could pick a lady as a romantic interest. Of course, you can always go the non-romantic route, but seeing this kind of representation, even in an apocalypse, when I was 15 melted my heart.

We can see lesbian and transgender representation in this game. But the story is not about their gender or sexuality; it is about how revenge can change us. However, we can see authentic gay storytelling through Dina, who is the target of some homophobic people. The game is careful to bring us a queer narrative without focusing on them being queer. They're just people like the rest of us.
