Of course, you can always go the non-romantic route, but seeing this kind of representation, even in an apocalypse, when I was 15 melted my heart.

This is the perfect game if you love The Sims and queer games. I find the two games very similar. You can choose how you want to be called—pronous, sexual, or even assexual and aromantic. And there’s also a very fun mystery to solve while dealing with the middle school drama.

You can feel yourself being drawn to this magical world where you are not only accepted but celebrated; it truly feels like a fantasy land. You and your queer friends are magical and fighting the forces of evil together; what else could you possibly want?

Tyler is the main trans character, which is amazing because there’s not a lot of trans representation out there, and since they can go back in time, you can truly feel what it was like for him to come out and deal with how the world responds to it. There’s also a romance option with a male character if you want to, plus a representation of people struggling with anxiety in Alyson, his sister.

Aside from having an excellent black representation, there are numerous LGBT themes, with much of it taking place in San Francisco, a city known for fighting for freedom rights.In a lot of parts of the city, there are rainbows everywhere! and a trans activist who is simply amazing. In the end, this game is for the minority who has been feeling left out for a long time, and you’ll have a lot of fun playing.

Honestly, this game is so fun to play. The humor is amazing, and you feel drawn to the main character, who is pursuing his acceptance into the League of Evil. Between you and me, he definitely is a good guy, but I won’t be the one to tell him. You can choose between two handsome spies (or go back and choose both!) and have fun with their interactions.

This is a horror game, but, surprisingly, with lesbians! And if they’ll get a happy ending, it's up to you and your gaming skills. This game has a lot of mystery and a wonderful, terrifying environment. Can you save everybody? Or you can just let everyone die and let your lesbians have a happy ending alone. a change of scenario, you know.

We can see lesbian and transgender representation in this game. But the story is not about their gender or sexuality; it is about how revenge can change us. However, we can see authentic gay storytelling through Dina, who is the target of some homophobic people. The game is careful to bring us a queer narrative without focusing on them being queer. They're just people like the rest of us.

I remember this game being the first one that I played with LGBT characters after coming out to myself, and the sensation was amazing. I felt so seen. And the game has a mystery vibe, which I love! The message that this game gives you at the end is beautiful. Just enjoy life as much as you can. And there’s also the sequel, which is based on the past, if you want to play it as well.

The thing that I love most about this game is that the writer didn’t know she was trans at the time, but after the game came out and she started to see things from Madeline’s perspective, it was clear that both herself and Madeline were transsexuals. It is a wonderful game to play and reflect on; you can relax while solving mysteries and let the gameplay really sink in.

The Sims has always given LGBT people visibility, always allowing people of the same sex to flirt with each other, but as the years evolved, they made it even more queer. You can play as any member of the LGBTQIA+ community and make a lot of different stories; there are a lot of LGBT items that you can decorate yourself or your house with; and there are also the CCs that you can download. The world is yours to do with as you please.
