6 . Assetto Corsa Competizione
Assetto Corsa Competizione is a racing simulator game developed by Kunos Simulazioni in cooperation with the Blancpain GT Series. ACC is unfortunately locked at 30 frames on the PS4 but it can go upto 4K 60 fps. The game features content from the 2018 and 2019 seasons of the Blancpain GT series, including all cars, drivers and circuits. It features only GT3 and GT4 cars for now. It also includes an improved physics engine that provides more realistic handling for all vehicles. It has several other new features which were not that much prevalent in the original Assetto Corsa such as better customizable weather conditions, a more detailed damage system and improved AI behavior. It also has legendary tracks and their classic variations like Le Mans and Silverstone and tracks that no longer exist like Rouen Les Essarts. 2 . F1 2021
F1 2021 is the first game to be released by Codemasters under the ownership of EA and the first to be released for the next-gen consoles. The game has built on the success laid by F1 2020 and also has made noticeable improvements in different aspects. The graphics provide a much more simulation feel to the game which F1 fans have been wanting. The damage models have been improved, while it lacks a bit of polish, they still give much more of a realism feel to it. The major features of this game include the Braking Point story mode, first of its kind in an F1 game and the two-player career mode, which you can play with your friends. It will also feature returning tracks like Istanbul Park and Imola. The track models are still yet to be updated to the 2021 specifications but other than that it is a solid game. There’s no argument which game should top this list other than a Gran Turismo title and Sport fits that narrative perfectly. While it had mixed reviews at launch it is by far, it is the most polished and well received racing game on PS4 and it has lived up to its expectations on the PS5. Polyphony Digital are still adding more and more content at a fast rate to this game.
