This article is about the 5 different camera modes you can use during your gameplay in Brawlhalla. Which ones are recommended for smoother gameplay? And which ones to avoid? Keep on reading.

Brawlhalla Camera Modes
5. Fixed:
Let’s save the best for last and start off with the worst one; the fixed mode. It is exactly what it sounds like, the camera is fixed but that’s not why it’s the worst. It is super zoomed out to fit the whole game screen. That makes it super difficult to play unless, of course, you have a home theatre in your room.
Use this mode if:
- You have a super large screen in your house.
- You are a noob and you need something to blame for your ass-whooping.
- This mode is a real no-no for mobile players.
4. Default:
The default, action and classic are pretty much the same with slight differences. The default is focused more on the legend. You could say it is more spectator focused than the action and classic mode. It works better than the fixed camera mode and is just as good as the other two just mentioned.
It is best to use:
- If you want a wider view that is neither fixed nor too zoomed in.
- When you’re unable to decide which mode suits you best.
- It is probably the most used camera mode in the game.
3. Action:
The action mode is more focused on the action or fight. The game also seems to become slightly faster in this mode or maybe that was just me. You might also observe that the camera moves slightly with every attack which gives a good feel to the game.
Use this mode in:
- Every situation that the default or the classic mode is used.
- You want a slightly more fast-paced gaming experience.
2. Classic:
The classic is basically the action mode with a slightly wider view and you will find it hard to feel the difference unless you watch the recordings in both modes in parallel. It’s like Brawlhalla devs were just bored and they thought, ’Let’s make a new camera mode.’
You can use this mode in situations similar to the action mode. I gave it a higher number than the action mode because it covers better real estate on the screen.
1. Close:
The close mode topples every other one. This is because from my experience I got a considerable improvement in my rank after adopting this mode. It is based on my personal experience, you can test the different modes and see which one works best for you. This mode keeps both legends really zoomed in and improves the human player’s response to each attack.
This mode is recommended if:
- You want a close-up view of the fight.
- In training, when you want to see hitboxes up close.
- A benefit of this mode is a pop-up appears in this mode showing weapon spawns.
- I highly recommend it for mobile players.
