The AK47 has been around since the first Modern Warfare, It has seen many changes since its inception from looks to stats but is still brought back in future call of duty games for newer players to enjoy. The weapon standard has a moderate coil, average AR ammo capacity with one of the if not the highest damage in class. With attachments, the weapon can be altered in numerous different ways from absolutely no recoil to god-tier damage. In this list we will be breaking down my top three AK47 setups to use and what makes them so great.

3. “Stealth AK47 Setup”

Starting off our list of the best setups to use for the ak47 would be the Stealth setup. This class utilizes a suppressor with 100% muzzle flash concealment as well as a range of perks to assist them in determining enemy movements such as the paranoia and forward Intell perk. Bolsters a 50 round magazine attachment as well, Ensuring you can be in the front-line shadows longer for your team.

Loadout Details: 

• Muzzle: Suppressor - +100% muzzle flash concealment
• Barrel: 20” Liberator- +100% Bullet Velocity
• Magazine: VDV 50 Round Fast Mag- +67% Magazine ammo capacity, +35% Reload quickness, +67% Max starting ammo and +67% Ammo capacity

• Use of Paranoia and Forward Intell Perks allows players to see the enemy before getting caught off guard
• Magazine attachment provides the backup ammo and magazine ammo to stay in the fight longer and the added reload speed is a boost. Preventing deaths while you are reloading...We all know how much we hate those.
• The barrel cancels out the bullet velocity nerf from the suppressor to ensure that the bullet velocity does not drop.
• The stock and its Aim walking speed and Sprint to fire speed allow players to flank enemies as soon as they are spotted with no delay.

2. “No Recoil AK47 Setup”

As the name suggests, This build prioritizes recoil control above all else, Not much is changed to damage other than bullet velocity and this build actually has two barrel options for you to choose from that vary on the size of the map you are playing. It also utilizes the 50 round, Fast Mag, from the previous build which is a plus. The only downside to this class is that you lose the option to have six perks due to the gunfighter wildcard but I believe it cancels itself out with the ability to have more than 5 attachments on your primary weapon. Unfortunately “Turboman” did not leave the perks or equipment to use for this setup but I will leave my personal recommendations for perks that will complement the moderately aggressive playstyle of this setup from my experience playing Black Ops Cold War.

• Handle: GRU Elastic Wrap- +30% Aim down sight time, +90% Flinch Resistance with the ability to go prone

• The Paranoia and Ninja perks allow you to quietly move and sprint around the map as well as get notified on your screen whenever an enemy is aiming at you no matter the direction
• The 50 Round Fast Mag gives players the ammo and reload time they need to stay in the fight as long as possible
• Trophy System allows players to be protected by enemy lethal and tactical equipment as they are defending an objective or holding down the front line in a kill based match
• The Buff to the aim down sight time is a plus ensuring you can get your shots off before the opponent does.

For the last setup on our list today we have the Aggressive/Rushing AK47 setup, This Class prioritizes Bullet velocity as well as aim down sight time, Sprint to fire time, and aim walking movement speeds. It also utilizes the kgb skeletal stock and 50 Round Fast Mags as in the previous builds. The key element in my opinion the really makes this an aggressive class would be the use of the LawBreaker Wildcard that allows the user to have another primary weapon as a secondary weapon. This class chooses the AK74-u which is an all-around good smg with moderate recoil and high damage. The icing on the cake would be the Ammo Pack field upgrade in your equipment which allows you to stock up on ammo for yourself and your teammates.

• Having two primary weapons instead of one gives you the option to just switch to another powerful weapon instead of having to reload during tense rushes
• The focus on aim down sight time, Sprint to fire time, and aim walking speed on both weapons ensure that the speed that it takes to flank the enemy won’t be lost even if you need to switch up weapons
• The Assault pack Upgrades allows for extra ammo when scavenger isn’t enough
• Paranoia perk allows you to rush with a sense of security as the perks notify you as an enemy is aiming at you so you can react on time and accordingly.
