[Top 10] CSGO Best Crosshairs For The Deagle (Used By The Best Players In The World)

CSGO Best Crosshairs For The Deagle
Deagle + Crosshair + Aim = Pocket AWP.

Good crosshairs are crucial in CS:GO because they serve as your focal point. Want to get more headshots? Then a smaller crosshair may be the way to go. Want to focus more on accuracy? A bigger crosshair can help with that. Want something in between? Then a, “mid-size” crosshair could work for you. Of course, there are exceptions based on comfort and features. That said, today we’ll be talking about some of the best crosshairs for the deagle used by the pros.

10. Xantares

The size allows you to locate your enemy’s head with ease.

Xantare’s uses (or used) a small and light, but fairly transparent crosshair. Some pro players prefer a lighter or thinner crosshair to minimize any sort of visual distractions. So instead of increasing the crosshair’s thickness, size, or changing the color (all at once), they may choose 1 or 2 out of those 3 options for transparency at the bare minimum. The crosshair also features a small gap in the middle, so you can sort of peek into the enemy's head across multiple distances. When using the deagle, this crosshair aligns very well with the player model’s head from mid to long-range distances while the gap helps you center the shot.

About Xantares

Ismail Can Dörtkardeş is a Turkish-Macedonian CS:GO player for BIG. His primary roles include rifler and entry fragger. According to HLTV (a prominent site for CS:GO stats from professional players), his deagle kills rank third most among his total kills. In other words, most of his kills, aside from the AK-47 and M4A4, come from the deagle. In 2021, he and BIG ranked in the top 3 teams for Blast Premier Spring ($25,000/$150,000).

What’s Good About Xantares's Crosshair

  • Transparent green color
  • Mimics the size of the player model’s head across various distances
  • Gap in the middle allows you to see part of the player model’s head

Xantares's Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshaircolor_b 50; cl_crosshaircolor_r 50; cl_crosshaircolor_g 250; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -2 (or 0); cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0.5; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0;

9. JamYoung

A small and compact crosshair.

JamYoung’s crosshair features a teal green color with a dot in the middle. It’s a bit smaller than Xantares's crosshair. What’s distinct about this (and similar crosshairs) is that they often require more precision thanks to their extremely small size, focusing not only on the head, but the center of it as well. So even though it may not always align perfectly with your opponent’s head, the crosshair essentially forces you to be more accurate (over time) by decreasing your margin of error. However, at long-range distances, the crosshair aligns exceptionally well to the head’s overall size. All in all, JamYoung’s crosshair is effective for the deagle and headshots alike.

About JamYoung

Yi Yang is a Chinese CS:GO player for ViCi Gaming. His primary role is rifler. Albeit a small sample size, his deagle kills rank 3rd/4th (it’s close) best among his total kills. He also possesses a k/d ratio of 1.23 and a headshot percentage at ~54%, at the moment. In 2020, ViCi gaming won first place in the DH Masters Winter: Asia ($8,000/$15,000). ViCi gaming stands out as one of the top teams in Asia, aside from Tyloo.

What’s Good About JamYoung’s Crosshair

  • Compact; partly thanks to the size and crosshair dot
  • Vibrant color
  • Often focuses on the center of the head

JamYoung’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairstyle 4;cl_crosshairsize 1;cl_crosshairgap -3;cl_crosshairthickness 0;cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0;cl_crosshairdot 1;cl_crosshaircolor 4;cl_crosshairusealpha 1;cl_crosshairalpha 255;cl_crosshairgap_useweaponvalue 0;cl_crosshair_t 0

8. Niko (OG)

A slightly bolded and compact crosshair.

This time we see a yellow vibrant crosshair that seems neither thick or thin. However, thanks to the outline thickness feature at 1, it appears to be slightly thicker than the norm. This, of course, is to increase its overall transparency. Thanks to the size and dot in the middle, it also appears compact and ready to shoot. At close ranges, the crosshair often covers a small portion of the head; at mid-ranges, the crosshair often covers most of the head, and at long ranges, the crosshair often covers all of the head, with a slight overextension at times. Hence, Niko’s crosshair is good for the deagle because of its compactness and size, especially from mid to long-range distances.

About Niko

Nikolaj Kristensen is a Danish CS:GO player for team OG. His primary roles include rifler and support. His deagle kills rank 4th best among total kills. About 1/4th of his pistol kills come from the deagle as well. In 2020, Heroic (former team) won first place in the DreamHack Open Fall ($33,000/$115,000), beating team Vitality.

What’s Good About Niko’s Crosshair

  • Slightly thick outline increases transparency
  • Bold yellow color
  • Small crosshair immerses well with player model’s head across various distances

Niko’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 1; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 2; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 0;

7. NiKo (G2)

Similar to Jamyoung’s crosshair, or vice versa.

Again we see a very small crosshair that focuses on the center of the head. This time, however, it’s light green. While transparency might be its biggest drawback, if you can adjust to the size over time and condition yourself to constantly move at head level, then the reward could be worthwhile. With a crosshair like this, it sort of minimizes distractions thanks to its size while the head/center will often take priority for the first few shots and then the spray thereafter. At close to mid-range distances, the crosshair covers a small to moderate portion of the head (center), and at long-range distances, the crosshair often aligns perfectly with the head.

About NiKo

Nikola Kovač is a Bosnian CS:GO player for G2 Esports. His roles include rifler and AWPer. His deagle kills rank 4th best among his total kills and constitute about 36% of his pistol kills. In 2020, he was ranked the 4th best player in the world by HLTV. NiKo was also the MVP of the IEM New York Europe series ($70,000/$140,000), playing for Faze at the time. If that’s not enough, his overall headshot percentage sits at ~50%.

What’s Good About NiKo’s Crosshair

  • Requires pinpoint accuracy (which can be trained over time)
  • At long range distances, the crosshair aligns perfectly/almost perfectly with the enemy’s head
  • The light green color gives the crosshair some transparency

NiKo’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 1; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255;

6. b0RUP

Fairly large, but the gap in the middle provides additional support.

Although larger crosshairs often extend outside of the head, the gap in the middle allows you to center the shot. You can also think of it as 4 lines pointing and guiding you towards one direction or the head. The size and color could also contribute to a better headshot percentage simply because it's easier to see than most crosshairs. If it’s not too distracting, then this crosshair could work for you, whether you’re going for deagle kills or a higher headshot percentage. At close ranges, the crosshair often covers the center of the head; at mid ranges, the crosshair often covers the head completely (with some slight overlap at times) and at long ranges, the crosshair not only covers the head completely, but often overlaps to the shoulders or chest. Keep in mind the crosshair size stays the same, but thanks to an optical illusion, it will appear bigger or smaller depending on the distance.

About b0RUP

Johannes Borup is a Danish CS:GO player for Heroic. His roles include rifler and support. Believe it or not, his overall headshot percentage is at an astounding ~ 64%. And his Deagle kills rank 4th best among his total kills. In 2020, he and team Heroic won first place in the Dreamhack Open Fall ($33,000/$115,000).

What’s good about b0RUP’s Crosshair

  • Easy to see and track
  • The gap in the middle provides some space for the head
  • Like with most crosshairs (t-shaped), the lines seem to be pointing towards the center, or head

b0RUP’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshaircolor 2; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairalpha 250; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 0; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255;

5. k0nfig

A fairly large, but light crosshair.

If you don’t mind bigger crosshairs, but dislike any sort of thickness to it, then try k0nfig’s crosshair. It also features a transparent green color with a small gap in the middle. Depending on the size and distance, gaps can help locate your opponent’s head with greater ease. At short ranges, the crosshair often covers the center of the head; at mid-ranges, the crosshair often aligns with the head completely, but slightly overextends, and at long ranges, the crosshair completely aligns, but extends well beyond the head. All in all, k0nfig’s crosshair is useful for the deagle (and subsequently headshots) thanks to its high transparency and noticeable gap.

About k0nfig

Kristian Wienecke is a Danish CS:GO player for Complexity Gaming. He plays as a rifler and AWPer at times. The deagle ranks 4th best among his total kills and has a whopping headshot percentage at roughly 56%. In 2020, Complexity Gaming won first place in the Blast Premier Spring series against Vitality ($335,000/$500,000).

What’s Good About k0nfig’s Crosshair

  • Highly transparent thanks to its size
  • Gap in the middle can help guide your aim
  • Easy to track

k0nfig’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0;

4. Twistzz

Don’t be fooled by its size.

When you don’t want a big crosshair, but need some transparency, adding a bold color helps. If color is not enough, then adding a thicker layout or draw outline can also increase its transparency. In Twistzz’s case, the thickness is slightly increased to give the crosshair a bold pink appearance, despite its small size. Aside from better transparency, the crosshair aligns very well with your opponent’s head across various distances. At close ranges, the crosshair often aligns with a small portion of the head, but at mid to long-range distances, the crosshair aligns with most, if not completely with the head without overextending. Hence, it’s usually great for deagle one taps and headshots from mid to long-range distances.

About Twistzz

Russel Van Dulken is a Canadian CS:GO player for FaZe. His primary role is rifler. His deagle kills rank 4th best among his total kills, and second-best among his pistol kills (usp silencer ranks 1st). Twistzz doesn’t just have an excellent headshot percentage but is currently ranked 6th overall (by HLTV) for highest, sitting at ~62%. In 2020, he and Team Liquid won first place in the ESL Pro League Season 11 NA by beating Evil Geniuses ($90,000/$219,000).

What’s Good About Twistzz’s Crosshair

  • Small; mirrors well with your opponent’s head
  • Bright color with added thickness
  • May take longer to adjust to, but could also increase your hs% over time

Twistzz’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 0; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -4.4; cl_crosshairgap_useweaponvalue 0; cl_crosshairsize 1.100000; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 0.8;

3. ZywOo

Another small and effective crosshair.

Although primarily an AWPer, ZywOo is still an exceptional player all around. His crosshair features a yellow-shaped t with a gap in the middle. A draw outline is also added to increase its visibility. At close ranges, the crosshair often covers a small portion of the head. At mid ranges, the crosshair covers most, if not all of the head. And, at long ranges, the crosshair is completely aligned with the head, but overextends a bit. It’s good then for something like the deagle because of its size, increased transparency, and near-perfect alignment.

About ZywOo

Mathieu Herbaut is a French CS:GO player for Vitality. His primary in-game role is AWPer, but he’s also exceptional with rifles and pistols. In fact, about 25% of his pistol kills come from the deagle and roughly 50% of his AWP kills match his total pistol kills. In 2020, he was ranked the best player in the world by HLTV. He was also the MVP of the Blast Premier Fall with Vitality in 2020 ($225,000/$425,000).

What’s Great About ZywOo’s Crosshair

  • Small with added transparency (draw outline)
  • Transparent color
  • Immerses well with your opponent’s head

ZywOo’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 0.5; cl_crosshaircolor 2; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255;

2. ScreaM

A dot crosshair? Yes!

Although dot crosshairs are fairly uncommon among professional players, they still can be useful. For one, dot crosshairs offer a high degree of parallelism. That is, when you shoot, you’ll often see a, “circle within a circle.” In addition, some players may find the ends of a t-shaped crosshair to be somewhat distracting. Although ScreaM’s (former) crosshair may be a bit small, you can increase its size and thickness via console or find one in Crashz’s Crosshair Workshop Maps. At close ranges, this dot crosshair covers a very small portion of the head; at mid-ranges, the crosshair covers a slightly bigger portion of the head, and at long ranges, it covers a large portion, if not most or all of the head.

About ScreaM

Adil Benrlitom is a former CS:GO player for Envy, G2 Esports, etc. His nationality stems from Morocco and Belgium. Also known as the “Headshot Machine,” ScreaM boasts one of the highest headshot percentages, standing at ~68%. The deagle ranks 4th best among his total kills and ranks first among his pistol kills. In 2016, he was the MVP of the Esports Championship Series S1 with G2 ($250,000/$765,000).

What’s Good About ScreaM’s Crosshair

  • Dot crosshairs offer good parallelism between the dot and player model’s head
  • Potential pinpoint accuracy (over time)
  • Potential laser like focus (over time)

ScreaM’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -999; cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0.5; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 1; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairgap_useweaponvalue 0; cl_crosshaircolor_b 250; cl_crosshaircolor_r 250; cl_crosshaircolor_g 250;

1. s1mple

Very transparent despite its size.

Although primarily an AWPer, s1mple possesses an excellent skill set nevertheless. His crosshair uses a teal green color with some slight thickness. The gap in the middle allows you to spot your opponent’s head more clearly from mid to long-range distances. At short range, the crosshair often aligns with the center of the head; at mid-range, the crosshair aligns with most, if not all of the head, and at long range, the crosshair aligns with the head completely but may extend to the outside a bit. So if you're using a deagle with these settings, the crosshair should immerse well (at headshot level) across multiple distances.

About s1mple

Oleksandr Kostyliev is a Ukrainian AWPer for Natus Vincere. He’s arguably the best player or 2nd best player (ZywOo perhaps) in the game. deagle kills rank 4th best among his total kills and first among his pistol kills. In fact, roughly 30% of his pistol kills come from the deagle. In 2021, he was named MVP of the Blast Premier ($600,000/$1,000,000).

What’s Good About s1mple’s Crosshair

  • Very visible despite its size
  • Easy to track despite its size
  • Immerses well with the head

s1mple’s Crosshair Settings

  • cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshaircolor_r 0; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 170;
