10. P2000

Made in 2001, this German semi-automatic pistol was used mainly by law enforcement! This is one of the more recent additions to the Heckler and Koch pistols.

Pistol review:

• Low damage
• Fairly accurate
• Costs you $200 that could be saved for something better

Overall this is a bad pistol choice. It's better to save and use the pistols given each round than pay money for this.

9. Glock-18

A very well known pistol with many people having heard it in recent rap songs and other media, because of itsit's popularity in music and movies. Since this pistol was made to never jam, it is one of the most reliable pistols made. This newer version is fully automatic and only law enforcement or very few people are allowed to use it.

• Great for saving
• Great for pistol round
• Accurate
• Not very strong

The Glock-18 definitely isn't the worst choice in pistols but, unless it's the first round or you're saving for another weapon then I'd go without another choice.

8. USP-S

The USP-S is obviously not street legal. This is for military and special  law enforcement professionals only. The added silencer leaves this semi-automatic pistol with a very weak sound, which is why it's not for public use.

• It's free!
• Highly accurate
• Can be decent in pistol round
• Good amount of bullets in each clip

In summary, I would use this only when needed and can't afford a better gun. Best time to use is the pistol round since you're saving money or equipping armor and giving yourself a fighting chance.

7. Dual Berettas

The Dual Berettas are a neat pair of pistols. Introduced for civilian and law enforcement. This is an Italian produced semi-automatic handgun that are made of great quality.

Pistol review:

• Great damage up close with high fire rate
• A lot of ammunition
• Slow reload
• Decent accuracy while close range

The Dual Berettas are a great choice if you really want to rush into battle. But their reload time really hinders their performance and that alone makes them #7 on this top 10 list. However, the biggest bonus to picking this pistol over the previous 3 is the fast fire rate.

6. CZ75-Auto

CZ75-Auto was produced for military and special law enforcement units. This is not legal for public use since it is fully automatic. It has short recoil with a very high fire rate.

• Really quick
• Able to get some good headshots on armored enemies
• Very low magazine size

The CZ75-Auto is a first pick for many counter terrorist and one of my favorite pistols. The reason it's ranked #6 is because of its extremely low magazine size.

5. P250

Made in 2007, this semi-automatic handgun is very lightweight and manufactured from Sigarms. A sub compact handgun used by civilians as well as law enforcement.

• High damage
• Good size magazine
• Great for headshots on armored enemies

With all the great traits this pistol has, you're probably wondering why it's ranked #5. That's because it costs $300 and with so much competition in the pistol category this choice seemed less obvious than a few others that are better for a few hundred bucks more

4. Five-SeveN

Introduced in 1998 the Five-SeveN is a semi-automatic handgun that was made by FN Herstal located in Belgium. The official name for this handgun is the FN Five-seven but is normally referred to as Five-seveN

Pistol review:

• Low damage
• Fast fire rate
• High accuracy
• Big magazine

The five-seveN is by no means a slouch. This pistol might seem just average on paper with it's low damage to just about anywhere on the body, but that's as far as that thought goes. Once you start to get familiar with it, you appreciate all it's great perks and can easily ignore it's one con with a few quick hits to the head.

3. R8 Revolver

The R8 Revolver, a true semi automatic pistol with high accuracy. You may have seen it in a Western movie( It's been in quite a few). The long barrel gives a even stronger impact, making it a widely used pistol in game and in real life even longer.

Pistol review:

• This has a insane damage rate aka the hand canon!
• Fairly accurate up close but worsens dramatically the further you get
• Low magazine size and reload

For some, this is best pistol and the favorite weapon in the entire game. Yes I know  the 1HKO to the stomach or head is awesome, but for me it's only ranked #3 on this list. That's because it has such a slow reload time and low magazine clip, that you have very little room for error.

2. Tec-9

This handgun was developed in the United States by the company Intratec. This semi-automatic firearm has been used in a bunch of crimes previously on the news and because of that, has gained a bad reputation. But the functionality of the gun and overall quality has remained a high standard.

Pistol review:

• Packs a mean punch
• Can take down armored enemies with a headshot
• Has a good size clip

This is a great pistol and in the end comes down to preference. For the price some people would rather have this over the Desert Eagle. While this does get the job done, this pistol lands in the #2 spot because of itsit's accuracy.

1. Desert Eagle

The Desert Eagle, or aka the most recognizable pistol of all time, as seen in movies, games, and t.v. shows! It was made in the United States and redesigned in Israel. This is without a doubt a great semi-automatic pistol with a decent size magazine and an even bigger punch.

• Magazine size: 7/35

Pistol review:

• High damage
• Quick reload which helps it's lacking clip size
• Very accurate from short to mid range distances
• Can penetrate armor and wall
• Most expensive pistol in the game

Overall the pros certainly outweigh the cons! This was the best pistol in CS: 1.6 hands down and even with the added new editions, game updates, and changes; this pistol still remains top dawg in CS:GO!
