There are three different jumps we Titans have access to. These are high jump, catapult jump, and strafe jump. On initial testing, these jumps might have minimal differences, but all three have their unique uses. All of these jumps will cater to a specific play-style, and we’ll be guiding you through which ones will work best for you. This list isn’t in any particular order, so don’t worry if your favorite is last!
3. Catapult Jump
The first jump we’ll talk about is the Catapult Jump. This jump primarily gives you a burst of vertical momentum when you hit your jump button again midair. This burst resembles the Hunters double jump, but still maintains the hang time that comes with the Titan territory. This is great for activating your jump while falling, particularly in jumping puzzles where you might miss the jump by just a few inches. It doesn’t boast as much height or distance as the other jumps, but it makes up for it in utility.
Catapult Jump Strengths:
Good in-air recovery
Better for activating while falling
A good utility for jumping puzzles
Can catch enemies off guard in PvP
Use Catapult Jump if:
You’re completing activities that require precise jumping
You want to get over your enemies heads fast
You’re transferring to Titan from Hunter
2. High Jump
The High Jump choice is fairly self-explanatory. This jump specifically grants you more height when you activate it. With more height comes more distance but at the cost of some speed. This jump is good for trying to reach great heights, either for skipping platforms or gaining a vantage point. It can be a little cumbersome and hard to angle mid-air, but if you plan your jumps well then it’ll take you right where you need to be.
High Jump Strengths:
Makes reaching hard to reach places simpler
Longest hang time in the air
Good for jumping over enemies
Use High Jump if:
You want to ignore enemies and fly over them
You’re in activities where you can jump ahead
You want to get a clear sight of your surroundings
You want jump shots in PvP
1. Strafe Jump
Strafe jump takes little bits of the other two jumps and combines them. It doesn’t have the height or distance that High Jump does, nor the momentum that Catapult jump does. However, it does sport the most control out of the three jumps; allowing for the most maneuverability. With this maneuverability comes overall speed, meaning this is the best jump for speedy movement on the fly.
Strafe Jump Strengths:
Best general mobility of the three jumps
Simplest to use jump
Good for “skating” along the ground
Correcting yourself mid-jump
Pick Strafe Jump if:
You value overall mobility
You want a speed boost without your sparrow
You aren’t doing any activities that require specialty jumps
