Fallout 4 best DLCs
Check out all the Best Fallout 4 DLCs all ranked from worst to best!

Fallout 4 has been one of the most beloved RPGs in recent years and possibly of all time. The sheer amount of content the game has will have you playing for hours. The stories, the quests, the characters all are so well crafted. The developer, Bethesda has also released a bunch of DLCs for Fallout 4 due to it receiving outstanding reviews from both fans and critics. So, today we will nail down all those DLCs from Worst to Best. Let’s get started!

6 . Wasteland Workshop

The Wasteland Workshop was released as the 2nd DLC for Fallout 4. It adds a bunch of features for your settlements in the Wasteland. In truth, it's more of an add-on than a full-blown expansion. It adds more types of floors, walls, lights, and many other cosmetic items for your settlements. The notable feature in this DLC is the ability to capture and tame animals and create an arena where you can put your companions, settlers, and captured animals to fight with each other. It’s fun when you’re already immersed in the main story, but it gets a bit boring after completing the game. It sort of underperforms to bring players back after they completed the game. Other than that, it is a pretty neat expansion when you’re, let’s say after you’ve completed the first part of the story.

5 . Contraptions Workshop

The Contraptions Workshop is another DLC that was released for enhancing and customizing your settlements. It’s a bit different from the Wasteland Workshop in the sense that it helps in bringing out your creativity. Mainly electrical structures and machinery are available with this DLC You can create huge buildings with elevators instead of stairs which is much more comforting. There are also display cases where you can show off your armors, weapons, and other inventory items to your trusted NPC companions and settlers who make sometimes snarky comments on them. The DLC is much more refreshing as it focuses on the player’s creativity instead of forcing them to play.

4 . Vault-Tec Workshop

The Vault-Tec Workshop DLC, is honestly, where the role-playing aspect of the game shines. Along with a bunch of new quests you are given control of your very own Vault. The area where the Vault can be built is huge although you do need to clear out the enemies present there before. You can customize the Vault any way you like. You can assign your settlers various tasks and maintain a proper system. There are new furniture and building pieces to get creative with. One of the most useful features in this DLC that should’ve been in the main game is the VIP tracker which helps you track your companions in the Wasteland. It sure makes traveling with them a lot easier. The accessibility option is pretty bland here as there is no proper guide to piecing together different parts in making a Vault. It gets the players overwhelmed and can make them leave the whole thing altogether. Other than that it is a pretty immersive DLC for players to get into.

3 . Automatron

The Automatron DLC is the first DLC released for Fallout 4. The DLC entrusts the players in tracking down the Mechanist, an evil mastermind who has released a horde of deadly robots all over the Wasteland. It also adds new companions like Ada and Jezebel. You can also make your own robots with the help of the materials available in the workshop. The customizations available in making a robot are pretty fun as you can make wacky robots or pure machines built for death and destruction. It makes traveling with them much more interesting and exciting. The quests, although at the start, can be hard to get into, the final missions definitely make the DLC worth playing alone. All in all, it’s a fun experience if you want to get back into the world after the main story or build some fantastic-looking robots.

2 . Nuka World

The Nuka World DLC adds a whole new area to the game in the form of the Nuka World Amusement Park which is located in an isolated area in the Wasteland. Entering the Park, the player meets with three different gangs or raiders- The Operators, The Disciples, and The Pack. The player can choose to assist them or destroy all of them. Once established as their leader, you can keep working with them and establish your raiding supremacy all over the Commonwealth by harassing settlements if that’s your thing. The Nuka World Park has a lot of different areas from the Galactic Zone to the Safari Adventure Zone. The enemies are also a little bit varied including creepy clown ghouls and Gatorclaws. There are also a bunch of fun features in this exciting DLC including new armors that will have you engaged for hours.

1 . Far Harbor

I think all Fallout fans, including myself, agree Far Harbor is the best DLC to ever be released for Fallout 4. The DLC gives a brand new island filled with mysteries of its own. The DLC starts off with a case you get from Valentine’s Detective Agency. You travel to the distant Far Harbor where you are put in the middle of a mass dispute between the citizens of Far Harbor, the Children of Atoms, and the synth refugees of Acadia. The side quests are engaging as well as the well-crafted characters in the town. The setting of the island gives a gloomy and dark feeling which matches well with the overall vibe of the story. There are tons of secrets to unfold and new creatures to kill in the DLC. The Anglers, Wolfs, and Hermit Crabs are just some of the new creatures added to the game through this expansion. The main story of Far Harbor is intriguing as the decisions are much harder to make. The player character’s voice lines get revamped and make them much more natural and silly if you go for the sarcastic replies. All in all, Far Harbor definitely gives the best experience of all the DLCs released for Fallout 4.
