Fallout 4 has been hailed as one of the best RPGs of all time due to the amount of effort put into its customization aspects and overall fun and engaging gameplay set in the Wasteland. In Fallout 4, you have the option to recruit different kinds of companions, each with their own personalities and skills. This makes the game much more fun to roam around the Commonwealth and gives the benefit of having extra hands in combat. With the addition of mods, the game can be tweaked to any extent and the followers aren’t an exception.

In Vault 111, you can also save your spouse from an untimely death.

12 . Follower Revive System
When using multiple followers in combat, this mod allows them to revive the player as well as each other. When you lose all of your health, this mod causes the player to enter a bleed-out state. When you fall, your follower will try to revive you in the same way that you can stimpak followers. If you have any followers with you, you will not die instantly if you fall; instead, they will come and try to help you get back up. The revive time can be set to 2, 5, or 10 seconds.

8 . Companion Infinite Ammo
Another really useful mod is the infinite ammo mod. In the vanilla game, you have to equip your companion with various weapons and ammo and they run out pretty quickly for them. With this mod, you don’t have to worry about that at all as it’ll supply infinite ammo. If you wanted to see Strong wield a Fat Man with unlimited ammo, this mod can make your dreams come true.

4 . Everyone’s Best Friend
We all love our fellow canine, Dogmeat and it’s a shame we can’t roam with him and another companion together. This mod lets you command Dogmeat even when you have another companion. The Lone Wanderer perk isn’t also disabled when you are with him so it is a huge benefit. When you’re in combat, it’ll be great to have two companions instead of one with this mod.

This mod could be its own expansion as its gameplay ranges from 4 to 5 hours. This was created by modder NikaCola who now works at Bethesda as a Quest Designer, so you know it's amazing, to say the least. You meet Kit who is a fully voiced companion with her own unique dialogue and reactions to certain main game events. She has over 6000 lines of the original dialogue and possesses lockpicking and hacking abilities. It truly is a great mod to play with.
