Garena Free Fire Ranks and Ranking System Explained (Latest Patch)

Below is a description of how the ranking system works

EVERYTHING ABOUT FREE FIRE RANKS AND RANKED PLAY

Free Fire is a popular mobile Battle Royale game that features a ranking system for its players. To participate in Free Fire tournaments and climb the ranks, players can engage in ranked play in various modes.

WHAT RANKED MODES ARE AVAILABLE IN FREE FIRE?

There are two ranked modes available in Free Fire:

Battle Royale Ranked

Clash Squad Ranked.

Both of these modes allow players to compete against each other and earn points or stars to advance through the ranks. In the Battle Royale mode, players earn Ranked Points (RP) by surviving and getting kills in matches, while in the Clash Squad mode, players earn stars by winning matches and lose stars by losing.

Playing in these ranked modes allows players to test their skills and see how they compare to other players in the game. It also allows them to track their progress and work towards improving their ranking.

WHAT ARE THE RANKS IN FREE FIRE?

In Free Fire, there are seven different ranks that players can progress through:

Bronze (I, II, and III)

Silver (I, II, and III)

Gold (I, II, III, and IV)

Platinum (I, II, III, and IV)

Diamond (I, II, III, and IV)

Heroic

Grand Master (top 300 in the Region regardless of rank).

ARE THERE ANY SUBRANKS?

Each of these ranks is divided into sub-ranks, except Grand Master, which is reserved for the top 300 players in a given region.

HOW DO YOU ADVANCE EACH RANK?

To advance through the ranks in Free Fire's Battle Royale mode, players must pay an entrance fee in Ranked Points (RP) and then earn more RP by surviving and getting kills in ranked matches. Players start with a negative RP balance based on the entrance fee and can increase their RP by performing well in the match.

In the Clash Squad Ranked mode, the ranking system uses stars instead of RP. Players earn one star for winning a match and lose one for losing. If a player wins three or more matches in a row, they are awarded two stars instead of one. To advance to the next tier, players must accumulate a certain number of stars.

BATTLE ROYAL AND CLASH SQUAD RANKED EXPLAINED:

BATTLE ROYAL RANKED

Free Fire offers two ranked modes for players to compete in: Battle Royale Ranked and Clash Squad Ranked.

In the Battle Royale Ranked mode, players can queue up solo, duo, or in squads to participate in matches on one of three maps (Bermuda, Alpine, and Purgatory). The goal is to be the last player standing, and players earn or lose Ranked Points (RP) based on their performance in the match.

CLASH SQUAD RANKED

In Clash Squad Ranked, players can queue up individually or with friends to participate in 4v4 matches on several maps (Bermuda, Bermuda Remastered, Kalahari, Purgatory). The goal is to win four out of seven rounds by eliminating other players. Players start each round with a set amount of money to spend on weapons and items in the shop, and the amount they have is based on their performance in the previous round (except the first round, where everyone starts with the same amount). If a player dies, they lose their weapons and items, but if they survive a round, they keep them. This mode uses a star system to track progress, rather than the RP system used in Battle Royale Ranked.

HOW LONG DO THESE RANKING PATCHES RUN FOR?

The Free Fire MAX BR-Ranked Season 30 is set to end in a few days, at which point players' ranks will be reset and they will receive rewards based on their performance throughout the season. This season has lasted for approximately two months, during which players have been competing to improve their ranking and earn more valuable rewards."

RANK RESET SYSTEM

In most competitive games, including battle royale titles, the ranks are typically reset at the end of a ranked season. This is done to create a new starting point for all players and to ensure that the rank distribution remains balanced.

During a rank reset, players' ranks are typically reset to a certain point based on their performance in the previous season. For example, players who ended the season in the top ranks may be reset to a higher rank than players who ended the season in the lower ranks. The exact details of how the reset is implemented can vary from game to game.

Rank resets are usually accompanied by other changes to the ranked system, such as updates to the ranking system itself or the introduction of new rewards. These changes are usually announced by the game developer in advance of the reset.

It's important to note that rank resets are a normal part of the ranked experience in many competitive games, and they help to ensure that the ranked system remains fair and balanced for all playerareas arefollowing are how the rank reset takes place
