When I was first introduced to Just Cause 4, I found picking a vehicle to be a daunting task. After all, there are over 100 different vehicles to choose from and honestly, I would usually just wingsuit everywhere.
Yet, when you really start delving into the vehicles of this world it opens a whole different realm of possibilities.
Whether they are for travel, stunts, destruction, or random shenanigans, the possibilities are endless. In this article, we will delve into some of the fan-favorite vehicles and what they specialize in.
10. Wheel Loader (Best for Random Destruction)
Hmmm..... should you or... should you?

Lifting, smashing, rolling, pushing; its all possible with the mighty Wheel Loader. Plow through anything that stands in your way, driving away with barely a scratch. This piece of construction equipment is perfect for when you’re in the mood to just mess stuff up.
Why the Wheel Loader is amazing:
- In terms of durability, this thing is hard to match. Withstanding several high falls, and can even take a few tank rounds before exploding.
- You can freely move the bucket on the front. With a little creativity, this can be used for various purposes.

9. Mugello V405 Superbike (Best for Motorcycles)
The perfect bike for a sniper.
https://youtu.be/K0hw5Wgd8tw?t=212
If you have experimented with the motorcycles in any Just Cause game, then you may know their reputation for having pretty bad handling. This one isn’t necessarily an exception; however, it is better than most. And reaching a stunning top speed of 250 km/h, it is the fastest motorcycle in the game.
Why the Mugello is amazing:
- This can be particularly useful for some speed stunts, when you need to reach high speed but also navigate some tight areas or turns.
- At those speeds, crashing this already hard to handle vehicle is rather easy. But any crash is bound to be entertaining.
How to unlock it:
- Complete the Bike Stunt at Pueblo Kullu to unlock this item for a supply drop.
- You can find it in parking lots and public areas throughout Solís. It is also driven by some NPCs.

And it glows in the dark!
https://youtu.be/tudCbvaUDD4?t=60
This is easily the fastest vehicle in the game, maxing out at over 480 km/h!! Just for comparison, the fastest jet it the game only gets up to 380 km/h. Impressed yet? Well strap in and see just how fast you can go!
Why the Neon Racer amazing:
- At these speeds, it can be tricky to handle unless on a straight-away. So you should expect to get into at least of few crashes.
- Crashing at these speeds can be a lot of fun. Watch it flip and spin out of control until it is an unrecognizable ball of metal.
- It can be both fun and useful. For example, using it easily beat speed stunts that require higher speeds.
How to unlock it:
- Purchase the Neon Racer Pack for $2.99 USD, with which you also get the Neon Racer wingsuit and parachute. Once purchased, you can have this supercar supply dropped to you.

- It’s surprisingly quick, accelerating quickly to reach a maximum speed of 175 km/h.
- There are a few different versions of the buggy that you can obtain. The ones commonly used by the Black Hand and civilians are your standard version with no weapons and no nitrous. I’ll tell you how you can find them in just a moment.

Do you want to build a submarine?
https://youtu.be/1OTRg872Zc0?t=304
Of the few amphibious vehicles, there are in Just Cause 4, the Reptile offers you the best durability, speed, and power. Its thick metal armor can withstand heavy damage, including a few shots of tank ammunition. While the 1,600 rounds of machine gun ammo it carries are enough to deal with nearly any threat you can face on both land and sea.
Why the Reptile is amazing:
- Make a quick escape by changing terrain. When you're being chased on land, it will take a few minutes for them to send reinforcements by sea (and vise-versa). Any aerial vehicles that try to follow you can be shot down with your machineguns in just a few seconds.

- With 1600 rounds of heavy machine gun ammo will easily take down any aerial assailants that dare to come after you.

Shall we set sail?
https://youtu.be/ztkVujW64U4?t=301
Solís is a war-stricken county with combat around every corner. And the seas surrounding it are no different. There is no leisurely sailing around this beautiful island. Patrol boats, naval bases, and warships lay scattered across every nautical mile. So, be prepared. Grab your own warship and give them one hell of a fight.
Why the Conquistador is amazing:
- It’s a warship, so it is one of the most durable sea vessels available in the game.
- It certainly isn’t known for its speed, but it makes up for it with an arsenal of 300 explosive missiles. It only takes 2-3 hits to take sink any enemy and picking off aerial opponents is like swatting at flies.

Off all the helicopters, the A5 has the best overall durability and destructive power. Its high-powered machine guns can doll out heavy damage, taking down most opponents in a matter of moments. 2. The Toy Tank AKA El Tanquecito (Best for Agile Warfare)
Who will win?
https://youtu.be/vrX8Q9LyGUE?t=258
Have you ever seen an adult try to cram themselves into one toy jeeps that kids drive around? That is how Rico looks as he struggles to turn the steering wheel because his knees are up to his chest. Now don’t get me wrong it is hilarious to watch, but don’t underestimate this mini monster. It zips around at speeds of over 120 km/h rapidly firing cannon shells with explosive damage equivalent to its larger counterpart.
Why the El Tanquecito is awesome:
