Nothing feels worse than being the player who accidentally attacks or uses a targeted spell on a minion in an extremely important teamfight. Thankfully, League has an option to “Toggle Champions Only” and with that setting enabled, all you must do is press the key it's bound to and you become unable to click on anything that isn’t a champion. The indicator that the toggle is active is by the center of your cursor turning red. This setting can greatly improve your performance with auto attack-reliant champions all throughout the game.
Step 1: Open your settings
Step 2: Select the Hotkeys menu, and scroll down to “Additional Hotkeys.”
Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom and find the cell “Target Champions Only.”
Step 4: Bind it to a key. I recommend the “`” key above the tab button or a side mouse button.
When enabled, you can only right click or use targeted spells on enemy champions. Area of Effect spells are unaffected, and attack moving targets the nearest enemy minion or champion.
