League of Legends: How To Buy Chromas

Chromas are a recolored variant of a champion or specific skin which can only be activated if the respective champion and skin are obtained. The purpose of chromas is to give players more customization options to their favorite skins. For example, Mecha Aatrox comes in blue and orange by default, but I prefer the black and orange look in the obsidian chroma. Chromas, do not change VFX and the color of abilities. Chromas can be individually purchased for 290 RP and not all skins have chromas.

 

Step 1: In your league client, open the shop.

Step 2: Select skins in the upper left section of the shop.

Step 3: Click on the chromas option.

Step 4: From there, filter by skins owned, and optionally, available for blue essence.

Step 5: Once you found a chroma to your liking, purchase it for RP or Blue Essence.
