7. Major Ziggs
Major Ziggs in all his glory
Talk about a blast from the past (no pun intended). This skin is from way back in 2012. This came out only three years after League came out. This skin doesn’t impress me too much. It looks cool, but they didn’t change any of his abilities and that makes it the lowest-ranked skin on this list.
What makes this skin ok:
- Ziggs looks like an old school grenadier soldier
- He has a touch of steampunk in his design with his goggles
- He clearly has had a lot of wartime experience, look at that stance

6. Snow Day Ziggs
Merry Christmas!
Angry snowballs and for his ultimate a super angry snowman head. This is a fun skin for those people who love Ziggs but also love the ice motif from all the champs from the Freljord. For his satchel charge, you even get a fully built snowman!
What makes this skin ok:
- Complete change of all of Ziggs abilities
- You get to throw snowballs at your enemies, and it actually hurt them
- For his recall animation, he builds a snowman

5. Odyssey Ziggs
Literally space Ziggs
I really am sad that this is a legacy skin now. This skin is so cool to me, but I just can’t give it a rating close to the skins that are still available. Ziggs was completely changed for this skin even his abilities and his recall animation. He throws space orbs instead of bombs. He looks like he would fit in a Ratchet and Clank game.
What makes this skin ok:
- His recall animation involves a remote control, a ufo, and a bunch of slapstick comedy
- He no longer has traditional explosions, they are now bursts of space energy
- Space Ziggs, need I say more?

4. Mad Scientist Ziggs
"It's exploding, it's exploding." - Dr. Frankenziggs
I love the idea of this skin and I love the looks of it, but it lacks a lot of creativity when it comes to Zigg’s abilities. Literally, the only major change they made was changing his bombs to beakers filled with a volatile liquid. His actual design is really nice and it fits the mad scientist theme really well so they definitely got that part down. I love his crazy looking helmet and lab coat.
What makes this skin ok:
- Nobody will ever mistake this skin as being anything else but a mad scientist
- His exploding beakers are pretty cool but it does get old
- He shares this skin type with Mad Scientist Singed

3. Pool Party Ziggs
Dive bomb
This is a neat skin for Ziggs. Riot really did a great job on all the character’s pool party skins, but Ziggs in particular. First off he throws water balloons instead of bombs and his satchel charge is now a pool float. Plus he has goggles and a snorkel. This skin makes Ziggs look a little less like an unhinged explosives expert and just a normal Yordle looking to have a little fun over the summer break.
What makes this skin neat:
- All explosion effects have been replaced with water effects
- His ultimate is a massive water balloon and the target below the balloon is a smiley face
- Right before his satchel charge explodes it either makes a rubber duck noise or a real duck noise

2. Master Arcanist Ziggs
With all this studying he can make anything explode with nothing but magic
If you love Ziggs as a character but his bomb motif is getting a little old to you then you need to buy this skin right now. They totally changed his theme from bombs to straight-up magic. This is such a well-designed skin. His bombs have been changed to these magical spheres. When they explode they replaced the bomb explosion effect with a burst of magical energy.
What makes this skin awesome:
- Total overhaul for Ziggs and all of his abilities
- His bombs were replaced with magical spheres
- His satchel charge was changed to a bag of magic wands
- His ultimate is a magic orb of magical energy with a rune in the middle of the target

1. Battle Boss Ziggs
The ultimate boss
In my opinion, this is the ultimate Ziggs skin. They totally overhauled everything about Ziggs and his kit. He is supposed to resemble a boss enemy from the old arcade games from the ’80s and ’90s. He still throws bombs but they are all pixelated in all their vintage arcade glory. Everything about this skin is amazing. All of his bombs and explosives have little faces on them too!
What makes this skin amazing:
- His satchel charge is a little pixelated enemy like you’d see on a classic arcade game
- His minefield ability is a bunch of animated mines with eyes
- His ultimate is a glorious, pixelated explosion and where the target shows up on the ground there is a pixelated face of Ziggs
