Crosshairs are the main component for how you aim in Overwatch 2. Crosshairs can affect visibility, your awareness while aiming, focus, and impact on the game, especially dps heroes. 

Overwatch 2 lets you edit your crosshairs to how you like and what you think fits best for each hero. They do have certain default crosshairs, like D.Va and Winston that work just fine, since there’s a lot of weapon spread between the two it doesn’t matter as much for a certain type of crosshair. With normal shooter games you use one crosshair the entire time you play but with Overwatch 2, it’s different. Each hero has different abilities and primary/secondary fire. Tip: The gamer that uses this crosshair is very good so his skill level could be higher than yours. If you aren’t comfortable with a square (because I highly doubt anyone else-who hasn’t dabbled in the crosshair settings a time or two-uses a square. If you don’t love it then change it to a circle with a little bit wider of a center gap like 25 or 30 to help you flick to characters and know for sure who you can hit.

• Use width to show general area of ax swing
• Size is close enough to have precise throws 

Tip: Honestly, Reinhardt doesn’t need anything special. You don’t need to widen your reticle to compensate for the area of swing either. You can keep it simple with normal crosshairs. your sights wide and use whatever type you feel comfortable with. And again, use whatever color suits you the most. Brighter colors are recommended. Purple can absolutely be obstructed by the different colors of the map and other heroes.

• Use sides of crosshairs to lead enemies that are close enough to hit
• Use dot in middle for enemies 10 meters and closer
• Use circle for enemies 11 meters and farther

Tip: Flats again, tried this crosshair and had 9000 damage in the first round. Yes, it is Flats but if he can use it so can you. Obviously, use whatever is comfortable with you.

• Doesn’t obstruct vision at all 
• Use bottom of crosshair for left-clicking depending on distance
• Circle is perfect circumference for her beam 

Tip: Standard crosshair is good enough for herarcing projectiles. But it could be fun to try it out for distances with this crosshair. Always do trial games and make sure you feel comfortable with it before you keep it.
