The controllers that we use are the core of our gameplay. Without controllers, we wouldn't have the input device to even play any of the games we enjoy. And as our technology advances, our controllers make advancements  as well. If you play PUBG, having a reliable controller with varying features to enhance your gameplay.

5. PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller

PowerA is a well-known controller manufacturer. They manufacture licensed controllers for Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch, and for use on PC. The PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller is very similar to the standard Xbox Controller, however, it also has some additional features compared to the standard controller. 4. Razer Wolverine V2

The Razer Wolverine V2 has a similar layout to the standard Xbox controller however it also has additional buttons near the bumpers. These buttons can be mapped to any custom settings you want. The controller also features trigger stops, allowing you to have a shorter trigger pull. This is a great feature for any shooter, especially for PUBG as it allows you to fire single-fire weapons faster, and spray your automatic guns just a split second quicker. 3. Battle Beaver Custom Controllers

Battle Beaver is a company that creates Xbox and Playstation controllers that you can customize on your own with your own preferences and selections. These customizations are all available on their website. They do also sell standard, base-level controllers if you wish to not customize them yourself.

Battle Beaver custom controllers have many options for you to choose to customize. You can add additional buttons on the back of the controller, racing triggers, trigger stops, various colors, grips for your controller, and more! Battle Beaver controllers are an investment, however, the option to create your own personal controller is an option that not many companies have.

2.  Xbox Elite 2

The Xbox Elite 2 Controller is the second installment in the Xbox Elite controller series. The Elite 2, simply put, is a version of the Elite controller with new improvements, and more customization options. 

The Elite 2 features paddles on the back of the controller, as well as the ability to adjust stick tension. This makes it a great controller for PUBG, as PUBG has higher recoil than many other shooters. Adjusting stick tension gives you the ability to control recoil when shooting, with the tension of your own preference. The paddles on the back, which are all mappable to buttons of your choice are also great for PUBG.

You can set the controller up so you can utilize leaning, crouching, or holding your breath while shooting. Since the Elite 2 has 4 paddles, you also have the option of adding 4 total buttons to the back of your controller if you wish.

  • Feel - The Elite 2 is almost the same feeling as a standard controller. Obviously having paddles in the back, and trigger stops that you can choose to use does give it more of a pro style controller feeling over a standard Xbox controller.

1. PowerA Fusion Pro

For the top of our list, I was excited to put the PowerA Fusion Pro. PowerA is now on their third installment of the Fusion Pro series controller.

The PowerA Fusion Pro has similarities to the previously mentioned PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller. However it also features trigger stops, and did feature 4 paddles on the back. The third version of the controller now features buttons on the back, replacing the paddles of the previous two versions. 

The PowerA Fusion Pro brings in a lot of the same features as the Xbox Elite 2 Controller, however, it has one deciding factor that makes it more appealing to many - the cost. The PowerA Fusion Pro is a far more budget-friendly option, ranging in price between $69-$89. This is a great controller to purchase if you are looking into buying more advanced controllers.

What’s great about the PowerA Fusion Pro controllers?

  • Price - The cost of this controller is much lower than many of the pro style controllers on the market. 
  • Feel - The Fusion Pro has a great feel to it. It is a slightly heavier controller compared to some.
  • Features - This controller comes with all of the features and add ons that many pro controllers have.
