[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Capitao Loadouts

Rainbow Six Siege Capitao Loadouts, R6 Best Capitao Loadouts

At less than 5% pick rate in ranked matches. Capitao is one of the most underrated operators in Siege. His ability to provide cover for his team with his smoke grenades, and deny positions to enemies with his asphyxiating bolts, makes his tactical crossbow gadget the best tool for pushing and planting in the game. I was actually very surprised that he has a very low pick rate. It’s probably due to the fact that you have to be good at switching his bolts for him to be effective. But it’s not just his tactical crossbow that makes him a very valuable part of the team. His choices of weaponry with high damage but low recoil guns, makes the low pick rate even more surprising.

5. PARA-308 with 1.5x Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Muzzle Brake + Claymore

This might be Capitao’s most realistic loadout, being a gang breaker and all. This is probably what he used in anti-drug operators in the favelas of Brazil.

The PARA-308 is a great assault rifle with low recoil that goes in an almost straight line, and with high damage. What makes it even better is the availability of the 1.5x scope, which is just the most balanced zoom for Capitao. It’s zoom is not that far, but neither is it too near. Because of Capitao’s role as an area and vision denier, you have to get close to the enemies no matter what. And the 1.5x scope is just right for that.

Equipped with a suppressor on your primary, you can shoot at enemies without giving them the directional threat indicator. You know, that white thing that tells you where the shots are coming from. That’ll create some delay before the enemy retaliates. And because you already have a suppressor on your primary, you don’t need to equip it on your handgun in order to shoot cameras while maintaining stealth.

Excels in:

  • Stealth
  • Any range
  • Recoil control

4. M249 with 1.5x Scope, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser + Claymore

Capitao is coming in with a lot of heat with this one

Better recoil control than the PARA-308 and better damage. The only downside of using the M249 light machine gun is that its recoil takes a long time. But honestly, with 100 rounds per magazine, it more than compensates for its drawback. With a vertical grip and compensator, the recoil becomes even more compact, allowing you to be much more accurate, especially with the 1.5x scope.

Always use the suppressed handgun for shooting defender cameras or gadgets in order to maintain some stealth, because the M249 is very loud, and you don’t want to alert the enemies to your whereabouts when it’s not them you’re shooting at.

Excels in:

  • Medium to long range
  • Recoil control
  • Bullet capacity

3. PARA-308 with 1.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + PRB92 with Suppressor + Claymore

This loadout is great for players who have really good reflexes and likes to rush

The flash hider offers better recoil control than the compensator, but only in the first few shots. That’s why the flash hider might feel rougher with long sustained fire. But with the PARA-308's inherent low recoil, long bursts will feel stable even with the flash hider and angled grip equipped. With the angled grip, you can quickly flick your shots, especially when enemies come at you while you deploy your smoke grenades and asphyx.. you know what, let’s just call them fire bolts. It’s much easier to remember and understand.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range
  • Flick shots

2. M249 with 2.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser + Claymore

Fun fact: The M249 is one of the guns in Siege that exists in real life

Best used in maps like Villa or Coastline that offer attackers long range views of objectives from the outside. This loadout specializes in medium to long-range fire support. And with your fire bolts, it can mean literally. You can use this loadout to frag enemies from long range while also still finding the right angles to deploy your smoke grenades and fire bolts. Once you find the opportunity, deploy your smoke grenades to cover your teammate who’s planting, then deploy your fire bolts on pathways to prevent enemies from disrupting the plant, and keep firing your LMG to mask the planting sound. This tactic is always a nightmare to deal with for defenders.

Excels in:

  • Medium to long range support
  • Rush + plant strat

1. PARA-308 with 1.5x Scope, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Suppressor + Claymore

Be careful not to hit the sides when entering doorways with that long as hell barrel. Nah, but seriously, the long barrel can give you away when entering doorways, so you might wanna practice the art of pre-firing.

This author’s personal favorite. This loadout has most of the qualities mentioned in the four items above, therefore making it the most balanced Capitao loadout. With the extended barrel and 1.5x scope, you can provide long range fire support without really being disadvantaged in close range, because the 1.5x scope doesn’t zoom too close. And with the vertical grip, you’ll be able to control this assault rifle really well and frag enemies with great accuracy.

As always, use the suppressed handgun for destroying defender cameras and other gadgets. Stealth is a major part of Siege. It’s a specops game after all. And a proper operator always minds his back, and that is what the claymore is for. Because of the nature of Capitao’s role for the team, most of the time you’d have to go in, and for that, it is best to leave claymores on top of stairs.

Excels in:

  • Medium to long range
  • Recoil control
