Debuffs are an extremely critical part of Galaxy of Heroes, they give your opponent negative effects that can turn the tide in any match. Stuck on which debuffs are the best? You’ve come to the right place.
10. Tenacity Down: Darth Traya
Tenacity Down: Minimized chance to resist negative status effects. This Sith support leader uses Tenacity Down to its full advantage. Use Saber Storm to inflict this debuff.
Saber Storm:
- Deal Special damage to target enemy and inflict Tenacity Down for 2 turns. If Darthd Traya has full Health, deal damage an additional time and inflict Ability Block for 2 turns. If the target is buffed, deal damage an additional time and inflict Healing Immunity for 2 turns. This attack can't be Evaded.
9. Stagger: Veteran Smuggler Han Solo
Stagger: this debuff causes you to lose 100% Turn Meter if damaged (by the attack). This Scoundrel attacker is great when paired with Chewie, and w. With his multi-attacks combined with devastating debuffs, you can be sure to claim numerous victories (if paired with the right leader)
True Shot:
- Deal Physical damage to target enemy with 50% chance to attack again. The chance is doubled if the target is debuffed. Han inflicts Stagger for 2 turns when he attacks again.
8. Extortion: Nate Gunray
While often overlooked, the reworked version of Nute Gunray does provide great support for droid and Separatist characters. His extortion ability is unique, so running a team with synergized characters is recommended.
- Dubious Dealings: inflict Extortion to a target the enemy. If they already had Extortion, grant it to the weakest enemy that does not have it. Then, inflict Speed Down on all enemies for 2 turns and deal 20% Max Health damage to enemies with Extortion, which can't be evaded. Characters who use Extortion grant Profit to allied Separatists. Profit: +10% Critical Chance and Critical Damage per stack (max 50%) until the end of the battle
7. Healing Immunity: Jedi Knight Anakin
Healing Immunity: Character cannot regain health or protection. While many characters feature healing immunity, we will focus on Jedi Knight Anakin’s. This high-pressure Jedi attacker has undergone a rework, and risen in the ranks of Galaxy of Heroes, especially when teamed with Ahsoka Tano and the 501st.
- Deft Bladework: Deal Physical damage to target enemy with an 80% chance to inflict Healing Immunity and Buff Immunity for 2 turns.
6. Shock: Emperor Palpatine
Shock: character cannot heal, gain buffs, or gain bonus turn meter. With debuffs, it matters which characters you use. For instance, Emperor Palpatine’s Shock does especially well when paired with characters who inflict damage over time. An ideal pairing would be Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
- Lightning Strike: Deal Special damage to target enemy and Shock them for 3 turns. Then, Emperor Palpatine gains a 15% Turn Meter for each Shocked enemy. Shock: Can't gain Health, Buffs, or Bonus Turn Meter.
5. Stun: Kylo Ren
"I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it"
Stun: character misses a turn and cannot avoid attacks. Kylo ren may have many variations, but his original version features his zeta ability Outrage
- Outrage: deal physical damage to target enemy and if Kylo has full health, inflict stun for 1 turn. This attack deals 75% more damage if Kylo is below full health. Recover protection equal to the damage dealt
4. Ability Block: Count Dooku
Ability Block: special abilities are unusable. The rework of count Dooku has made him a very powerful dark side character. With his hindering press, he can inflict this debuff.
- Hindering Press: deal physical damage to target enemy with a 50% chance to attack again, doubled if the target is Galactic republic. These attacks have a 50% chance to inflict stun and ability block for 1 turn and can’t be countered or evaded.
3. Daze: Enfys Nest
Daze: can’t assist, counter-attack, m or gain bonus Turn Meter. This powerhouse attacker can stack protection when attacked, and dismantle enemy defenses with Dispels and Turn Meter manipulation.
- Kinetite Charge: Deal physical damage to all enemies, Daze them for 2 turns, remove 20% Turn Meter from each enemy that had full Health, and gain 40% Turn Meter for each enemy with less than full Health. This attack can’t be Countered or Evaded.
2. Fracture: Grand Admiral Thrawn
Fracture: Grand Admiral Thrawn possesses one of the best debuffs in Galaxy of Heroes. After you’ve unlocked him, plug him in with any Empire or Dark Side teams and you’ll be guaranteed success. The last two debuffs featured are truly in a category of their own.
- Fracture: Speed set to 0, cannot gain buffs, bonus attacks, or turn meter. Raid bosses lose 0% speed, 30% counter chance, and cannot gain buffs.
1. Fear: Darth Malak
Darth Malak's Fear is the best debuff to use in Galaxy of Heroes. Unique to Dark side characters, this debuff can quickly change the tide in any battle. Darth Malak, Darth Revan, and Bastilla Shan (Fallen) currently have the Fear ability
- Fear: miss the next turn, can’t use abilities, can’t evade. Increase cooldown by 1 and fear expires on taking damage from an attack.
