[Top 5] Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes Best Phoenix Teams

Since Phoenix Squadron is made up of essentially 6 characters, this list will feature some allies they have partnered with along the way. While many provide great offensive and support boosts, I still believe Phoenix Squadron is best used when all members of the core are present.

5. Fulcrum: Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Chopper, Ahsoka Tano (Fulcrum)

Ahsoka is an excellent choice for an attacker. In fact, I often combine her with Dark Side teams too.

This Rebel fighter is one of my favorite attackers in Galaxy of Heroes. Once properly zeta’d, she is a force to be reckoned with. Combined with bonus attacks from Ezra, and extra from Kanan, this team will give anyone trouble.

Fulcrum Unique Team Abilities:

  • Whirlwind: Consume all non-unique buffs on Ahsoka and deal Physical damage to the target enemy. This attack scores an additional hit for each type of buff consumed. The target can't Evade and has -50% Armor against this attack.
  • Perseverance: Ahsoka is immune to Damage Over Time effects and gains 30% Critical Avoidance. At the end of each turn, Ahsoka dispels all debuffs on herself and loses 10% Health for each debuff dispelled, then recovers 5% Health for each buff on her. This Health Loss can't defeat Ahsoka.
  • Meditate: Ahsoka gains Foresight, Retribution, and each non-unique buff (excluding Taunt) present on other allies for 2 turns, then gains 15% Turn Meter for each buff on her.

4. Old Jedi Knight: Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Garazeb “Zeb” Obi-Wan Kenobi (Old Ben)

Once a mighty Jedi, Old Ben now lives in seclusion. However, don't be fooled, this Jedi still packs a punch.

Anchored by one of the OG’s from the original trilogy, this team ranks at number 4 due to Ben’s “If You Strike Me Down” which gives additional buffs to all allies and Jedi’s. His rework did his justice, as he provides a decent leader role to any Rebel.

Old Jedi Knight Unique Team Abilities:

  • If You Strike Me Down: Whenever another Jedi or Rebel ally takes damage, Old Ben gains a 5% Turn Meter. The first time Old Ben is defeated, all allies gain Offense Up and Speed Up for 2 turns, recover 50% Health and 50% Protection, and gain 25% Turn Meter
  • Mind Tricks: Inflict Ability Block on all enemies for 1 turn and Offense Down for 2 turns, with an 80% chance to remove 60% Turn Meter. Jedi and Rebel allies gain a 3% Turn Meter for each effect Resisted. This attack can't be Evaded.
  • Devoted Protector: Old Ben gains Taunt for 2 turns. When this Taunt expires, Old Ben gains Taunt for 1 turn. All allies gain Defense Up for 2 turns.

3. Tactical Genius: Admiral Ackbar, Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Chopper

While I don’t recall Admiral Ackbar ever fighting side-by-side with Phoenix, they were both parts of the Rebel alliance in this period.  His Tactical Genius is the buff to use on this team.

Tactical Genius Unique Team Abilities: 

  • Ackbar grants each ally the Tactical Genius effect. The first ally to use a Special ability while they have this effect gains 100% Turn Meter and recovers 30% of their Max Health. Tactical Genius ends whenever an ally triggers this effect or at the end of Ackbar's next turn.
  • It’s a Trap!: Dispel all negative status effects from all allies. Each ally recovers 9% of their Max Health for each effect dispelled this way. Admiral Ackbar has a 25% chance to gain a 40% Turn Meter.
  • Quick Shot: Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 55% chance to gain 45% Turn Meter.

2. Demolish: Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Zeb Orrelios

Formally from Mandalore, Sabine has been trained for battle since a young age. A Rebel at heart, nothing will stop her from protecting her family, the Phoenix Squadron

Now we get into the top 2, and while all of the allies that have fought with Phoenix have given a boost, Phoenix Squadron is at its best when all core members are present. Some of the interchangeable characters would be Sabine, Chopper, and Zeb.

Demolish Unique Team Abilities:

  • Demolish: Deal Physical damage to all enemies, Stagger them for 2 turns, and Expose the target enemy for 2 turns. For each active Mandalorian and Phoenix ally, deal +15% more damage and Expose a random enemy. Mandalorian and Phoenix allies gain Critical Chance Up and Offense Up for 2 turns. If this attack scores a Critical Hit, reduce Sabine's cooldowns by 2. This attack can't be Countered or Evaded.
  • Blaster’s Akimbo: Deal Physical damage to target enemy twice. This attack scores an additional hit for each of the following if the target: Has less than 70% Turn Meter, has less than 30% Turn Meter, the target is debuffed, hits after the first deal 75% less damage.
  • Take it Back: Sabine has +25% Critical Chance and +25% Critical Damage

Phoenix Squadron has always been one of the best teams in this game. Each character supports and helps another.

Phoenix Squadron performs best with this lineup (in my opinion). Each character's abilities synergize with another, and when all in sync: this team is extremely difficult to beat. Not only that, a maxed-out Phoenix Squadron is essential to many quests including unlocking Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Phoenix Squadron Unique Team Abilities:

  • Each active Phoenix ally grants its Unique ability to other Phoenix allies. In addition, whenever a Phoenix ally uses a special ability, they gain 20% Turn Meter if Hera is active. This effect is doubled for Phoenix allies with less than full Health.
  • Backup Plan: Target other ally gains the Backup Plan buff for 3 turns.(Backup Plan: Recover 10% Health per turn, Revive with 80% Health and 30% Turn Meter when defeated. Can't be Dispelled or prevented.)
  • Play to Strengths: Call another target ally to Assist. That ally's attack has +50% Potency and deals 35% more damage. If a target ally is Phoenix, Dispel all debuffs on them, reduce their cooldowns by 1, and grant them 50% Turn Meter.
