Which are some of the best states to join in State of Survival?
States can be a bit tricky in State of Survival. When one starts playing, the game will place you in a relatively new state, but it takes a few months of growth and for the state to progress before one can get a good idea of what type of environment will develop. Although starting in a fresh state gives a player the best opportunities for growth and involvement, it’s a gamble whether the state will succeed or turn into a dead state before plasma even shows up. A good alternative, especially when one is trying to learn how to play the game, is to start in an already established state, with a lively, vibrant community that allows for a satisfying gaming experience. With close to one thousand states though, it can be a bit difficult if you decide on taking this route. Following are ten of the best states in State of Survival, if this is a challenge you are interested in taking up:
10. State 591
Although fairly new in comparison to more established states, 591 is not exactly young. And although its players and alliances can’t quite match the power of those in older states, many of them are highly motivated, and many times outdo the older states in adopting new mechanics and game changes. Although any experienced player and alliance are worthwhile to join up with, players in these types of states have a very effective approach to the game, making 591 a worthwhile learning experience, although catching up to such dedicated players will not be very easy
State 591 Details:
- Enthusiastic and smart player base.
- Medium age yet with surprisingly strong and versatile alliances when compared to older states.
9. State 939
One of the newer states and not entirely established, but 939 seems to have a promising future. With very involved alliances and an active player base, the state’s growth is matching that of its members quite well, and joining while it’s still in a relatively early stage will certainly make for the easiest state to grow on this list, and its thriving alliances make for a fine place to learn the subtleties of the game
State 939 Details:
- Very new state.
- The best chance for quick advancement to the top.
- Actively growing and developing.
8. State 537
Old enough to have an established order and rules, but young enough for the growth of new players to be feasible, 537 is a pretty good state to join and learn about the game. Its alliances are very active, and filled with strong players, but actively interested in seeking out new players and helping them grow, so as to foster their involvement and engagement with the game. You won’t be making the top of the leaderboards without a lot of effort and help, but if it’s not protagonism but teamwork you are looking for, 537 is a solid option.
State 537 Details:
- Medium age state, with a good mix of strong players and growing ones.
- Helpful to newer players
7. State 147
Although now an older state, 147 was one of the newer ones when SoS started rising in popularity. As such they’ve always maintained a good mindset of the game, and are well aware by now of the pitfalls that trump their growth of a state and their players, having worried from the beginning about forming a strong state where respect and active engagement with the game are highly valued. Growth will be slow since it is an older state, but not as low as it could be without their welcoming members.
State 147 Details:
- An old state, which has developed not only in power but also in organization and friendliness.
- Home to many players willing to help or share their experience with new ones.
6. State 206
What makes State 206 particularly interesting is the high kill count amongst its top alliances. Very active and fiercely competitive, playing in 206 is a difficult challenge, but that is also what can make it very rewarding in achieving goals. But don’t start a character without much experience, growth in these types of states must be optimized and a strong alliance to protect you is a necessity. Still, they are organized and work well as a team in SvS.
State 206 Details:
- Very challenging and strong state.
- Active and focused on events.
5. State 877
One of the newer states, and one that has been showing great dominance against the other states it has competed against in State versus State so far. Highly organized and strong, yet young enough to not make your growth too daunting, 877 is a good state to join and develop in as you learn. It won’t be easy to make your way to the top alliances, but it’ll be a lot quicker than most other states on this list, and the players in this state are an engaged and friendly bunch.
State 877 Details:
- Relatively new.
- Stronger and more coordinated than other states of the same age.
- Powering up is challenging but ultimately feasible.
4. State 725
A farmer state, and a relatively new one at that. Although it doesn’t have as many heroes as the previous entries, this is not necessarily for the worst. It being in an earlier stage makes it easier to catch up to more experienced players. Farmer states for the most part share all resources to gain power equally, enabling them to focus on SvS rather than in endless petty squabbles. Some new transfers into the state have made for a difficult adjustment period, but it appears that 725 remains strong and has incorporated them into their ecosystem, and they are all now starting to work as a team.
State 725 Details:
- State rules are conducive to easy growth and development
- Focused on SvS over other competitive aspects of the game
- Dynamic player base with new additions adding to the challenge
3. State 1000
Although not yet released, there is a great deal of expectation about state 1000. Experienced players from all states are awaiting eagerly for it to be launched, and although it remains to be seen what type of state will develop from it, it will certainly be an interesting and challenging experience. Although old players will have an advantage early on, new players will have a great opportunity to learn from a good mix of players from earlier states. Whether it succeeds or not remains to be seen, but it will surely prove to be an interesting experience.
State 1000 Details:
- Currently unavailable but soon to be released
- Highly expected by many players
- Good opportunities for growth and learning
2. State 222
If looking for established states to try your luck in, early states are a good place to go to. It can be hard to know exactly what you are getting into though, but 222 has had a good reputation for a long time. Its top alliances are collaborative and helpful, with rules that can be found in many states but are more closely looked after here to allow for the growth and development of new players.
State 222 Details:
- State with helpful, active alliances
- One of the better choices for growth in an older state
1. State 291
When looking at the top of the leaderboards, it’s hard to find a State that shares both top players and top alliances at the highest ranks with few exceptions, the most notable being state 291. They have done a good job there, and although VVV dominates the rankings, the rest of the alliances are quite good as well, with CHS reaching the finals of Reservoir League in its third season. It will be a challenge to match the skill and experience of these teams and players, but for that same reason, it’s an excellent place to learn the more complicated aspects of SoS.
State 291 Details:
- Home to very strong and effective alliances
- Very active.
- Chance to learn from some of the most experienced players
But finding the right state to begin playing will only be your first step into the zombie apocalypse of State of Survival. Once there, strategy and resource management will be imperative regardless of your choices. Even very experienced players need to keep an open mind to allow for new ideas and approaches to the game. Flexibility is of course very important in this respect, but preparation and planning are imperative if your goal is to have your name ring out through your state and beyond, no matter what your actual Battle Power is.
