A vastayan trickster, Wukong uses his physical might, agility, and cunning to outwit his rivals and gain the upper hand.
Wukong, the last practitioner of the ancient martial technique known as Wuju, had a lifetime companion in the warrior known as Master Yi.
With the use of an enchanted staff, Wukong aims to save Ionia from disintegrating.
This is a full article about using the monkey to make sure you always gain the upper hand and win every game.
Adapt to all situations.
When he met the fabled combat-masters of Wuju, he found that their village had been annihilated. He would seek out people with a better sense of humor.
Living as something of a charlatan, he proclaimed himself "the Monkey King" and often challenged mortals to duels, or games of cunning.
Kong wanted to be the greatest warrior, but he also sought something more. He claimed to be undefeated—until he crossed a Noxian headsman in the hinterlands of Zhyun.
Realizing he had fooled them, and with their patience finally at an end, the Shimon named him an outcast.
Kong made a proposition.
Yi was proud of his student, and he also felt like he had a new purpose in life. He gave Kong an enchanted staff made by the legendary weaponsmith Doran, as well as a new honorific that only the best Wuju students get.
From that day forward, he was known as Wukong. Though the war is long over, Noxus' influence continues to defile Ionia.
Although his tribe had cast him out, he wanted to defend the Shimon, who had sheltered him for so long, and set him on the path to wisdom and enlightenment.
