Warframe's weapons lean heavily on the science fiction side of its world. There's a buffet of futuristic beams, bombastic launchers, and sentient bows to fulfill everyone's appetite. Players who want a simple weapon closer to what we have presently could opt for assault rifles. However, due to their simplicity, most assault rifles fall behind the rest of the cast.
There are ten rifles rose above the rest, refusing to succumb to power creep:
10) Baza Prime
The Baza Prime is the primed variant of the Baza. It has an insane fire rate, yet it is pinpoint accurate, so much so that the Heavy Caliber mod barely has a negligible effect. Additionally, it has the highest critical multiplier of all the fully automatic rifles at 3x.
- Fastest reload speed of all fully automatic rifles.
- Completely silent, viable for stealth missions. It pairs well with Ivara.
- Stable accuracy synergizes well with Argon Scope, incentivizing players with good aim.
Baza Prime is acquired by opening Void Relics that contains its blueprint and components. It can also be traded between players.
9) Kuva Hind
The Kuva Hind is the Kuva variant of the base Hind. Using its alternate fire, you can cycle through its three firing modes: burst, semi-automatic, and fully automatic, with different advantages. Because of that, the Kuva Hind is a highly versatile assault rifle that could be modded to one's preference.
- High slash damage.
- Burst mode has the highest status chance; Semi-auto mode has the second-highest critical chance of all semi-automatic rifles; Full-auto mode is a mix of both, with high status and critical chance, but not as good as the former two.
Like all Kuva weapons, the Kuva Hind is acquired by defeating a Lich who generated it. Liches can also be traded between players at the Dojo's Crimson Branch Room.
8) Zenith
The Zenith is a fully automatic assault rifle that deploys a disc using its alternate fire. While the disc is out, it highlights enemy heads within its range while also changing the primary firing mode to semi-automatic. In this mode, the weapon gains infinite punch-through, even hitting enemies through walls and obstacles.
- The disc stays in an area indefinitely. It is possible to cheese high-level enemies by placing it at a choke point and hiding behind a wall.
- The disc's marker can also keep track of invisible targets.
The Zenith is only available as a reward from the Daily Tribute system. After 100, it will become available every 200 days.
7) Fulmin
Wisp's signature weapons fire electricity pulses on its default mode, but using its alternate fire mode allows you to shoot rapid beams of lightning. This mode has a high critical chance, critical multiplier, and innate electricity to boot. So it may not be as overpowered as it used to be, but it's still a strong choice.
- Infinite ammo that recharges when not fired.
- Pinpoint accuracy and synergizes well with Heavy Caliber.
To acquire the Fulmin, purchase its blueprint on the market then build it on the Foundry.
6) Tiberon Prime
The Tiberon Prime is the Prime variant of the original Tiberon. It is the first weapon to have three firing modes of burst, semi-automatic, and fully automatic, like the Kuva Hind. Even though it was released in 2018, it still holds up as a reliable and effective assault rifle.
- Burst fire mode is the default option, offering a balance between all stats; semi-auto offers higher critical chance and critical multiplier, while full-auto is suitable for applying status.
- Full-auto mode ties with the Acceltra for the second-highest critical multiplier of all fully automatic rifles at 2.8x.
The Tiberon Prime is acquired through opening Void Relics or trading between players.
5) Kuva Quartakk
The Kuva Quartakk is a direct upgrade to its base variant as it increases all of its stats. Firing from the hip uses it's fully-automatic mode while aiming shoots four bullets at once. As powerfully savage as it is rough-looking, this underrated rifle is a reliable companion.
- Fully automatic mode boasts a high critical chance at 33%.
- Greatest burst damage when compared to other burst rifles.
- There's a trick to effectively animation cancel the burst fire by zooming out after a shot then zooming in.
The Kuva Quartakk is gained from killing a Lich that spawned the weapon. Since the gun is relatively unpopular, it might be worth buying a Lich that generation the Kuva Quartakk with a huge progenitor bonus.
4) Supra Vandal
The Supra Vandal is the Vandal version of its base weapon. It spools up the longer it is fired, rapidly increasing its damage until it peaks. Players looking for a heavy-machine gun that shreds through armor should invest in this weapon.
- Largest magazine size of all weapons.
- The quickest spool-up of all auto-spool rifles reaches its peak after four shots.
The weapon was first given to players who finished the Operation: Ambulas Reborn event. Since that event is long over, players could either buy it from Baro Ki'Teer or other players.
3) Trumna
An ancient weapon from the Orokin-era, the Trumna is a heavy fully automatic rifle. Getting kills with its primary fire earns charges, allowing the use of its alternate fire, a chaotic and explosive bouncing grenade.
- The number of grenades is affected by multishot.
- Innate heat.
The Trumna can be purchased from Father after reaching rank 3 - Associate with the Entrati. A total of 12,500 standing is required to purchase the blueprint and components. Additionally, the weapon uses Marquise Veridos and Auroxium, minerals that can only be crafted after reaching rank 3 with the Ostrons in Cetus.
2) Rattleguts
Rattleguts is a chamber component for Kitguns, allowing the modular weapon to act as a fully automatic weapon. Additionally, since it is a Kitgun, it can utilize the vital Pax Seeker Arcane Enhancement.
- Innate radiation, slash, impact, and puncture.
Players can buy the component blueprint from Rude Zuud at Fortuna. Grip and Loader can also be acquired from the same vendor from Father at Deimos.
1) Tenet Flux Rifle
Introduced in the latest Sister of Parvos patch, the Tenet Flux rifle is the new and improved Tenet version of the Flux Rifle. The original weapon used a continuous beam but the Tenet version transformed into a fully automatic Corpus assault rifle.
- It draws its ammo from a rechargeable battery which regenerates when not fired.
- Applies slash procs and status insanely extremely quickly.
- Pinpoint accurate even with Heavy Caliber.
The Tenet Flux Rifle can be acquired by defeating a Sister that spawned with the weapon. A Sister carrying the weapon can also be traded between players.
