For such a seemingly simple game, Wizard of Legend is as deeply involved and as hardcore as they come. There are tons of spells and accessories that you can acquire that have a nearly limitless combination and figuring out what works best. Although this is still up to personal taste, it can be difficult to achieve. Saying that, here are our top 3 Wizard of Legend builds for destroying your foes!
3. Up Close And Personal
Snowflake Chackram is a decent alternative if you haven't unlocked Cardice Prime yet.
If you like to get close and deal tons of in-your-face damage while being able to kill bosses quickly then this build may be just the ticket.
This loadout will make it so you don’t have to worry about cool downs too much. You will be protected by destroying what’s in front of you quickly and you’ll be able to attack more often thanks to relying on using your basic spells to continuously attack. As long as you’re near enemies, they will take constant damage.
For basic attacks start with the Air Spinner so you can hit enemies completely around you as well as knock back projectiles when needed. Use the Chaos Rift for your dash and you’ll be invulnerable during your escapes. For signature attacks, use Volt Pinball because it will orbit around you and bounce off the enemies it hits. Use Cardice Prime so you’ll have a second spell that orbits around you. The other great thing about it is when it is finished the ice will shoot outward to deal damage to enemies that may not be close by. Use the Venture or Tempo robes to reduce cool down times for your signature spells. For your relic, you can use what you prefer that will give you extra damage, critical hits or lower cool downs.
With this build, get close to enemies, keep your Volt Pinball with Cardice Prime active as much as possible and spam the Air Spinner. This should make your fights quick as you’ll be dishing out damage constantly as long as you are close. If there is a gap between your protective spells, use your dash to make room until the cool downs are through.
2. The Minigunner
Magnetic Follow-Up is great for continuous hits because it fires stones while using your other basic arcana attacks.
For fast charging signatures and sending huge damage all the time, try this build out and watch your enemies quickly fall to your might.
Using The Minigunner build, you’ll get big combos of devastating critical attacks that will even make the unicorn pinata rethink his role. It’s also compatible with many upgrades you’ll find throughout the trials so you can turn into a damage dealing beast. Dodge away from the enemies and focus on not getting hit so that you can be the one doing all the hitting.
Bolt Rail will be your basic attack as it has a chance to stun foes along with the five hits they already have to suffer through. Using Wave Front as your dash will help keep enemies off you as it provides some protection and knock back, even shortly after executing. Magnetic Follow-Up will be your standard slot spell so you can constantly bombard your enemies with rocks while using your basic arcana. Equip Flame Breath in your signature slot and you’ll be able to ignite your enemies while blocking off projectiles at the same time. Finally, use the Awe robe and a Captain’s ring relic to deal out more critical hits and bigger damage.
1. The Boss Shredder
Blazing Lariat, when enhanced, is great when you need to hit enemies around the entire area.
This build will be your best friend for finding bosses and dealing many critical hits to take them down quickly and easily.
If you want to be able to rush to the bosses as fast as possible to build up those precious gems, than you may want to consider this build. You’ll be able to find them faster to avoid unnecessary fights while having the ability to beat them fast regardless of their elemental strengths or weaknesses.
Slap on the Ice Dagger as your basic attack. It’s fast and it will be your main tool in the defeat of the bosses. Use Wave Front for the dash so you can be shielded during your escapes. Bring Fueled Berserk for your standard arcana. By using it you’ll turn your Ice Dagger attacks into a flurry of hits that can hit upwards of 30 times. Have the Blazing Lariat as the signature arcana so you can hit enemies from a distance and all around the room. For the robe, use the Awe so get a higher rate of critical hits as well as more critical hit damage. The suggested relic to bring is the Pathfinder’s Map so you can rush right to the bosses without wasting time and health dealing with all of the smaller mobs. If you fancy yourself a mob slayer, you can exchange the Pathfinder’s Map for the Dark Katana to even further the power of your critical hits.
When using this build, use the Blazing Lariat to hit the bosses until they get stunned, then activate Fueled Berserk and hold down attack to lay waste with your Ice Dagger. You’ll get tons of hits, including critical hits this way and you’ll be able to take down bosses easily.
