World of Tanks Blitz Best DPM Tanks For Every Tier
Today we shall be discussing the tanks with the most damage per minute in world of tanks blitz. Damage per minute is the damage a tank can dump out by constantly firing for 60 seconds. This is a very important factor when you are playing a game. A tank with more damage per minute will out reload your tank and will be able to destroy your tank before you can destroy his tank. Let's break into the highest damage per minute tanks in the game.
Tier 1
Cruiser II
The A10 Cruiser Mk. II was a further development of the A9 modification designed by John Carden. The A10 had enhanced armour and no machine gun turrets. A prototype was built in July 1937 and adopted for service as a heavy cruiser tank. A total of 175 vehicles were ordered between 1938–1939, which were manufactured by September 1940. The vehicles saw combat in France (1940), Greece (1941), and North Africa (1941)
The Cruiser II is a British light tank at tier 1. It carries the most damage per minute in the game for a tier 1. It has a two-shell clip, each shell dealing 30 damage. The whole magazine reloads in 4.5 seconds. So the tank carries a damage per minute of 634.
Since this is the first tier, a small number of battles are fought in this tier. The cruiser II can assure victory though.
T-26
A light tank developed based on the U.K. Vickers Mk. E. tank at the beginning of the 1930s. The vehicle was designed for supporting infantry and came in several modifications. It also served as a basis for various special vehicles and SPGs that were not widely used. From 1931 through 1941, 9,686 vehicles of various modifications and configurations were produced.
The T-26 is a Soviet Union tier 1 light tank. It carries the second highest damage per minute for a tier 1. It deals 40 damage after every 5.58 seconds. This means that the tank sits at a moderate damage per minute of 432. Since it has a top speed of 36 kph, the tank moves around quickly and can evade the enemy attack.
This tank can be used against the cruiser II. It is a mobile tank that zips around the maps.
Tier 2
Cruiser III
The vehicle was developed based on the M1931 Christie tanks, purchased by the British Army in 1936. The vehicle was intended to be a fast, lightly-armored breakthrough tank. The modified design was deemed successful and became the basis for other cruiser tanks. A total of 65 vehicles were built. They saw combat in France and North Africa from 1940–1941.
The Cruiser III is a British medium tank at tier 2. It has the most damage per minute for a tier 2 tank sitting at 692. It has a two-shell clip, each shell deals 50 damage. The intra-clip reload between these shells is 1 second. The whole magazine reloads in 7.67 seconds. It has a decent spotting range and good mobility so it can move into position quickly. It will lead you to victory if used correctly.
BT-2
Developed based on the Christie tank M1931. Produced at the Kharkiv Komintern Locomotive Factory (KhPZ), with 650 BT-2 tanks and 1,884 BT-5 tanks manufactured from 1932 through 1935.
The BT-2 is a Soviet Union tier 2 light tank. It carries the second most damage per minute in the game for a tier 2 tank. This tank fires a shell dealing 55 damage after every 4.89 seconds. This means that it has an amazing damage per minute of 675. Since it is a light tank it has an amazing top speed of 44 kph and an incredible camouflage. It can out spot many thanks so it is very good to get rid of cruisers.
Tier 3
Cruiser IV
An upgraded version of the cruiser tank Mk. III. The tank featured armour enhanced by the additional screens. The Cruiser Mk. IV fought in France in 1940 and in the early stages of the North African Campaign. This vehicle last saw action in the winter of 1941–1942. A total of 655 tanks were mass-produced.
The cruiser IV is a British medium tank at tier 3. It carries the most damage per minute for a tier 3 tank sitting at 867. Like its predecessors, it carries a two-shot autoloading gun but it has an intra-clip reload of only 0.5 seconds. The magazine itself reloads in 6.28 seconds. This tank has a similar playstyle to the rest of its line. It also has an amazing gun depression at 15 degrees. This is why it has no problem working any hill or ridgeline.
BT-7
The Soviet-wheeled caterpillar tank was used in the 1930s–1940s. The third vehicle in the series of the Soviet light BT tanks. The BT-7 differed from its predecessors in the welded hull of a modified shape and a new engine. A total of 5,556 vehicles of different variants were produced and saw action during the Khalkhin Gol battles, Polish Campaign, Winter War, and World War II.
The BT-7 is a Soviet Union tier 3 light tank that has the second most damage per minute in tier 3. It is just behind the cruiser sitting at 865. It fires a 65 damaged shell after every 4.51 seconds. This tank can be used to battle opponent cruisers. It has an amazing top speed of 45 kph so it can position itself quickly. It also has 8 degrees of gun depression so it can work some hills and ridgelines but since it is a light tank so it cannot be expected to bounce shells.
Tier 4
Matilda
Developed from 1936 through 1938. A total of 2987 vehicles were manufactured by August 1943. It was the only British tank to remain in service throughout World War II.
The Matilda is a tier 4 British heavy tank. It is quite rare to find a heavy tank with amazing damage per minute. This tank has insane damage per minute sitting at 1445. It fires a shell that deals 90 damage after every 3.3 seconds. This is insane because it can permanently track an opponent's tank and destroy their hit points. The tank is not slow either, it has a top speed of 28 kph. This tank also has 10 degrees of gun depression so it can hold any hill or ridgeline.
Type 1 Chi he
The Type 1 Chi-He medium tank was a further development of the Type 97 Chi-Ha. It was developed in 1941, but due to the lack of steel, production did not start until 1943. A total of 170 tanks were manufactured. Most of them were held for the defense of Japan and never saw combat.
The Chi He is a Japanese tier 4 medium tank which has amazing damage per minute. This tank has the second most damage per minute for a tier 4. It fires a shell that deals 140 damage after every 9.47 seconds. It has a very good top speed of 44 kph so it can get into position quickly. This tank also has 15 degrees of gun depression so it can work every hill and ridgeline. It has a decent turret that can bounce shells here and there.
Tier 5
StuG III Ausf. G
Originally designed as an assault vehicle, this self-propelled gun was converted into a tank destroyer beginning with the F series. A total of 9,265 vehicles of this series and 1,211 of the Stu.H. 42 were produced.
The StuG lll G is a German tank destroyer. It is a very strong tank due to its amazing damage per minute and mobility. It is the tank that has the most damage per minute in tier 5. It sits at a whopping 1753. This means that it fires a shell that deals 160 damage after every 5.47 seconds. Not only this but it has an amazing top speed of 50 kph. So it can rush into position and destroy enemy tanks with no problem. This tank also has an amazing traverse speed of 44° so medium tanks can rarely circle the tank and destroy it. It has 7 degrees of gun depression so it does not have a problem in working hold-down positions. Overall it is a pretty strong tank that can butcher enemy vehicles.
SU-85
Developed based on the T-34 medium tank and the SU-122 assault gun. Produced from August 1943 through July 1944. The 85-mm D-5S gun allowed the SU-85 to effectively hit enemy medium tanks at distances of more than 1,000 meters and to penetrate the front armour of heavy tanks at shorter distances.
The SU-85 is a soviet union tank destroyer with amazing damage per minute. It carries an 85mm gun which deals 200 damage a shot. This shell is fired after every 7.08 seconds so it sits at an amazing damage per minute of 1696. This tank has a beefy alpha considering the tier it is in. Two shells from the tank can bring down a full health medium tank to half of its hit points. So this tank should not be messed with. It also has an amazing top speed of 48 kph, so it can get into position in a short amount of time.
Tier 6
Jagdpanzer lV
The Pz. IV medium tank served as the basis for many vehicles, including tank destroyers. At the end of 1944, a version of the 75-mm PaK 42 L/70 gun was prepared for this basis. The new variant of the vehicle was designated the JagdPzIV/70. From August 1944 through March 1945, the Nibelungenwerke company produced 278 vehicles of this type.
The jgpz IV is a German tank destroyer with a monstrous amount of damage per minute. It sits at around 2957 which is insane for a tier 6 tank. It fires a shell which deals 220 damage after every 4.46 seconds. It has a good top speed of 45 kph, so it can get into position quickly. This tank can smash enemies to pieces with its amazing damage per minute.
AT 8
The vehicle was conceived as a breakthrough tank. The design project evolved from the AT-7 project, and both projects were submitted at the same time. No prototypes were built because the A39 Tortoise was preferred.
The AT 8 is a tier 6 British tank destroyer. This tank carries insane armour along with its amazing damage per minute. The tank is very slow with its top speed of 20 kph but the gun and the armour make up for this deficiency. It has an amazing damage per minute at 2544. It fires a 200 damage shell after every 4.7 seconds. The tank has very thick armour which can bounce heavy tanks and deal back damage.
Tier 7
SU-152
Development of a tank destroyer on the basis of the KV-1S heavy tank began on January 4, 1943. The vehicle received the designation KV-14 (Object 236). A prototype underwent field trials at the beginning of February 1943 and entered service on February 14, 1943. In April, the KV-14 was renamed SU-152. By December 1943, 670 vehicles were manufactured. Thanks to its ability to successfully combat German Tiger I and Panther tanks, the SU-152 was dubbed "Hunter" by the troops.
The SU-152 is a tier 7 Soviet Union tank destroyer. It has amazing damage per minute which is unmatchable. The tank fires a shell that deals 400 damage after every 7.16 seconds. This means that it has a damage per minute of 3352. The tank also has a top speed of 43 kph. This enables it to reach positions very fast and destroy enemy tanks. This tank sits at the back of the map and ruins everyone's game.
AT 7
Conceived as an assault breakthrough tank, this design was completed by June 10th, 1943. No complete prototypes were built. However, some parts and components of the AT 7 were used in the A39 Tortoise.
The AT 7 is a tier 7 British tier 7 tank destroyer. Like its predecessor, it is a very slow tank with a top speed of only 20 kph. The tank has amazing damage per minute and armour to make up for the slow speed. It has amazing damage per minute of 3186. The tank fires a 225 damage shell after every 4.24 seconds. This rank can go against enemy heavy tank and take small amounts of damage while dealing a huge amount back to them.
Tier 8
AT 15
Assault tank was conceived to break through fortified positions. The design project was ready by the fall of 1943, but no prototypes were manufactured. However, the project became the basis for the A39 Tortoise heavy assault tank.
The AT 15 is a tier 8 British tank destroyer. It carries the most damage per minute in tier 8 and second most damage per minute in the whole game. Like all assault tanks this tank also has a top speed of only 20 kph. It carries an amazing gun that deals 225 damage after every 3.43 seconds. These statistics show that it has an insane damage per minute of 3937. It has moderate to good armour. The tank can become very strong if it uses its 25 degrees of gun arc. The scary fact about the tank is that once it permanently tracks its enemy there is no chance of its survival.
ISU-152
Developed on the basis of the IS tank. The ISU-152 was conceived as a replacement for the SU-152, which was based on the KV-1s chassis. A total of 4,635 vehicles were built from November 1943 through June 1945.
The ISU-152 is a tier 8 Soviet Union tank destroyer. It carries the second most damage per minute in the game sitting at 3166. This tank is considered overpowered because it carries the tier 10, BL-10 gun which has 286mm of penetration. The tank goes through armour like butter. It deals a 640 damage shell which is a fourth of a heavy tank's hit points. Apart from the fact that it has an amazing gun, it also has a good top speed of 43 kph. So the tank can position itself quickly.
Tier 9
SU-122-44
Development was started in the summer of 1948. The T-54 tank was used as a basis for this tank destroyer. The vehicle entered service in March 1954. Mass production was launched in 1955, with a total of 100 vehicles manufactured. The principal configuration of the vehicle is similar to the configuration of WWII assault guns.
The SU-122-44 is a Soviet Union tier 9 tank destroyer with the highest damage per minute the whole game sitting at 4274. The tank fires a shell that deals 420 damage after every 5.9 seconds. It does not have a lot of armour but the tank has an amazing top speed of 48 kph, so it can get into position quickly and farm so much damage. This tank should not be messed with since it hack's its enemies to pieces.
Jagdtiger
Developed from 1942 through 1944, the heavy tank destroyer, with the chassis of the Tiger II heavy tank, became the heaviest mass-produced armored vehicle ever. According to various sources, 70–79 tank destroyers were manufactured from 1944 through 1945. The vehicles saw service in the 653rd and 512th Heavy Panzerjäger Battalions.
The Jagdtiger is a tier 9 German heavily armoured tank destroyer with a monstrous damage per minute. The damage per minute is not only the highest on tier 9 but the second-highest in the whole game. It fires 460 damage-dealing shells after every 6.92 seconds. This means that it has a damage per minute of 3996. The tank has a penetrable lower plate but if you are able to hide it using the 8 degrees of gun depression, then the tank becomes impossible to penetrate. The Jagdtiger literally butchers the enemy tanks into pieces using its amazing damage per minute.
Tier 10
Object 263
The development of a heavy tank destroyer on the basis of the IS-7 heavy tank was started in 1950. Three design projects were developed, one of which resulted in a full-size wooden prototype. However, further, development was discontinued due to phasing out the IS-7 mass production.
Object 263 is a Soviet Union tier 10 tank destroyer that has the most damage per minute in its tier. The tank sits at an amazing damage per minute of 3855. It fires a shell that deals 460 damage after every 7.16 seconds. This tank can pull off some crazy maneuvers due to its incredible power-to-weight ratio and top speed. It has a top speed of 55 kph so it can rush into position in a very small amount of time and start farming damage.
Grille 15
In the summer of 1942, Waffenamt (the German Army Weapon Agency) concluded an agreement with the Krupp and Rheinmetall companies for designing a tank destroyer on the chassis of the Panther tank. It was planned to mount either the 128-mm K 43 gun or the 150-mm sFH 43 howitzer. The projects were designated Grille 12 and Grille 15, featured rear placement of the fighting compartment, and differed only in the artillery system type. Later, the Grille 15 received a 150-mm gun with a length of 63 calibers, which could penetrate 200 mm of armor at 4,000 meters. However, development was slow, and the Grille 15 remained only in blueprints.
The grille 15 is a German tier 10 tank destroyer. It has the second most damage per minute in tier 10. The tank fires a shell that deals 640 damage after every 10.57 seconds. Hence it has a damage per minute of 3633. The grille 15 has no armour at all and can be penetrated by high explosive shells all over. The tank does have a very good top speed of 50 kph so it can get into position quickly. If the grille 15 is unspotted it can destroy enemy hit points.
That is the end of this article. There were many thanks with amazing damage per minute but now you know the ones with the most in each tier. The first five tiers do not matter too much but as you move up to tier 6, game statistics start to matter. That is why you should know which tank has what strengths.
