In this article, we will be discussing the most powerful tank lines after the most recent update which is 9.1. Most of the tanks include German super heavies.
1. Japanese Heavy Tank Line
The Japanese heavy tank line is the newest in World of Tanks blitz. The tanks boast heavy armor from tier 7 onwards. The tier 8 Chi Se has such a strong upper plate that not even tier 10 tanks can penetrate it. The tier 9 type 68 has amazing hold-down skills and a strong turret which shrugs off shells fired at it. Tier 10 in this line has exceptional statistics. It has insane traverse speed allowing the player to wiggle the tank so fast that it is impossible to penetrate its only weak spot which is its lower plate. Type 71 also has good gun depression and a very strong turret which cannot be penetrated by any type of shell. This line is packed with armored vehicles. The tanks are not slow either as heavily armored vehicles are expected to be. Tier 10 is quite fast with a top speed of 40 kph. So anyone who wants strong heavily armored and fast tanks can grind this line.
2. German E 100 line
The German E 100 line has become one of the strongest lines after the latest update. Tier 10 has become exceptionally strong as it received a buff on turret armor. The tank now can only be penetrated in the lower plate and has an amazing alpha at 640 damage a shot. The tier 9, E 75 has amazing frontal armor and a very nice gun carrying an amazing alpha at 460 damage a shot. The tank is heavily armored but it is quite fast. The tier 8, Tiger II is also a heavy tank with amazing frontal armor which cannot be penetrated by any medium or heavy tank at tiers 8 and 7. It also has pretty good damage per minute for a tier 8 heavy tank. The whole line of heavy tanks showcases the very strong armor and firepower the german heavies carry. The tank line is very popular among tankers as they have almost everything a player could wish for.
3. German Maus line.
This is another German heavy tank line. The tanks in this line have amazing armor and hitpoints. The high armor and hit points start at tier 8 heavy tank VK 100.01.P. The tank has hit points almost rivalling tier 9 hit points at 1900. The tank also carries massive alpha at 460 but has low damage per minute as a setback. Similarly, the Mauschen has 2400 hit points. This is more hit points than many heavy tanks in tier 10. The tank also has good alpha at 460 but not amazing damage per minute. The tier 10 Maus has incredible armor which can be used while side scraping. The tank may have weak cheeks but let's be real they are hard to hit from a distance. The Maus also has good alpha at 460 and the most hit points in the game at 3021. This line has some amazing armor and damage per shot which can ruin enemies' battles.
4. German VK 72.01 K line
This German heavy tank line is unique in the aspect that the tier 9 and 10 are rear turreted. The tier 8 has good frontal armor and decent speed and damage per minute. The tier 9 which is the VK 45.02 B is a rear turreted tank with amazing side scraping skills the tank also has pretty good damage per minute. The VK also has 8 degrees of gun depression and an amazing alpha of 460. The tank can bounce shells and slap the enemy for high damage. If the new equipment is activated then the alpha becomes even higher at over 500. The tier 10 vehicle VK 72.01 K also has some amazing armor and carries a whopping 150mm cannon which deals an incredible damage per shot at 640. The tank has decent damage per minute and speed but the armor is incredible. The tank does have their weak spots at the cheeks just like the Maus but they can be really difficult to shoot at. This tank also carries tungsten shells so it averages over 700 damage per shot if it is activated. All of the German super heavies have crazy armor and this tank is not an exception either.
5. Soviet IS 4 line
The soviet IS 4 line is also one of the most powerful lines in the game. It is powered by the likes of ST I and KV 4 at tier 9 and 8. All of the tanks have amazing armor and good to amazing damage per minute. The KV 4 is a monster of a tank with incredible armor at tie 8. The tank has a high alpha at 400 damage per shot and has both side scraping and face-hugging capabilities. When you move to the tier 9 tank ST-I, you gain amazing hold-down skills and armored turret and upper plate. The tank carries the second most hit points for a tier 9 vehicle. It also carries the tier 10 gun which deals 420 damage. The tier 10 IS-4 has amazing armor. The tank cannot be penetrated by any shells if it uses its gun depression. It also has good damage per minute and can destroy enemy tanks. The tank is not only very strong but it does not require any special skill to perform very well. But if the tank falls into the hands of an experienced player it becomes a complete beast.
