[Top 5] World of Tanks Blitz Best Tier 3 Tanks

1. Cruiser Mk. IV

An upgraded version of the cruiser tank Mk. III. The tank featured armour enhanced by the additional screens. The Cruiser Mk. IV fought in France in 1940 and in the early stages of the North African Campaign. This vehicle last saw action in the winter of 1941–1942. A total of 655 tanks were mass-produced.

The Cruiser Mk.IV is a British medium tank with incredible damage per minute. It is sitting at 885 damage per minute. It has a two-shot autoloader gun which fires two shells, each shell dealing 50 damage like its predecessors. The difference between them is that this tank has an intra-clip reload of only 0.5 seconds. The whole magazine reloads in 6.28 seconds. It also has 15 degrees of gun depression so it has no problem in working hold-down positions. The tank has good mobility with a top speed of 46 kph so it can rush into position quickly and start dealing damage.

2. M5 Stuart

A further modification of the M3 Stuart, the M5 entered production in April 1942. By June 1944 a total of 8,884 vehicles in two variants had been produced. The tank was used in all theatres of war.

The M5 Stuart is an American tier 3 light tank with an incredible damage per minute and mobility. It has an amazing damage per minute of 923 firing a shell which deals 70 damage after every 5.1 seconds. The tank also has amazing camouflage as it is a light tank and is very fast, its top speed being 52 kph. It also carries 10 degrees of gun depression so it has no problem in working hold down positions. Once this tank flanks the enemy it can absolutely destroy the  whole enemy team because of its high damage per minute.

3. D 2

A further modification of the D1 tank. Developed in 1934 by the Renault company. A total of 100 vehicles were manufactured from 1936 through 1940. The vehicles of the second series were designated as D2bis.

The D 2 tank is a French tier 3 heavy tank. It is the only heavy tank in tier 3. It has impressive armour, decent speed and amazing damage per minute for a heavy tank. It has around 922 damage per minute firing a shell which deals 60 damage after every 4.2 seconds. The tank also has good armour which will bounce most shells from tier 3 vehicles. It has a top speed of 23 kph so it is not very fast. It does have a very thick turret which goes perfectly with the ten degrees of gun depression. It can hold any hill or ridgeline and continuously bounce shells. It is a pretty strong tank if it is used correctly.

4. Pz .Kpfw.iii

Production of the J variant started in March 1941. In addition to the enhanced armour, the vehicle received the new 50-mm KwK 38 gun, which was deemed extremely successful; 1,067 other vehicles featured the KwK 39 gun, the improved version with a better penetration rate. An attempt to mount a 75-mm gun (the N variant) was recognized as a failure, and the most large-scale vehicles were the J, L, and M variants (with 50-mm guns that had an impeccable track record). A total of 5,691 vehicles were produced, among which 1,969 were equipped with long-barrel guns and 2,391 with short-barrel 50-mm guns.

The Pz. Kpfw. III is a german medium tank at tier 3 with good damage per minute and amazing alpha. It also is a very mobile tank. The tank is sitting at around 828 damage per minute firing a shell which deals 80 damage after every 5.8 seconds. This is quite beefy alpha for its tier. It has a top speed of 52 kph so it is a pretty fast tank and can reach position very quickly. The tank has only 6 degrees of gun depression so it may not be able to work hold-down positions. The high speed and good alpha make up for the lack of gun depression. If this tank is able to flank the enemy team it will destroy their rear guard.

5. Type 2597 Chi Ha

Developed by Mitsubishi from 1935 through 1937. The vehicle was mass-produced from 1938 through 1942, alongside an upgraded Shinhoto Chi-Ha for the last two years, with a total of 1,220 vehicles of both types manufactured. The Chi-Ha and Shinhoto Chi-Ha tanks were widely used by Japanese forces in China, and after Japan capitulation, these vehicles were used by both the PLA and Kuomintang forces in the Civil War of 1946.

The Type 2597 Chi Ha is a Chinese tier 3 medium tank with a good damage per minute, good mobility and moderate gun depression. The tank has a good damage per minute sitting at 852 firing a shell which deals 70 damage after every 4.93 seconds. It has good mobility with a top speed of 40 kph so combined with its spotting capabilities it can spot enemy tanks while not being spotted itself. The tank also has 9 degrees of gun depression so it can work hold down positions on most of the hills in the game.
