[Top 5] World of Tanks Blitz Best Tier 4 Tanks That Are Powerful

5. Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D

This modification of the Pz IV was developed in October 1939. The vehicle had enhanced armour and an improved, external gun mantlet. The tank was mass-produced until May 1940, with a total of 229 vehicles manufactured.

Pz. IV. D is a German medium tank with good damage per minute at 1123. It has moderate armour which can bounce many shells. It also has 10 degrees of gun depression so it can work most hold-down positions in the game. It also has a good top speed of 42 kph which helps it reach the position in a short amount of time. The Pz.IV.D is an overall balanced tank which can be very strong if it is in the hands of a good player.

4. M8A1

Developed in 1941 through 1942 based on the M5 Stuart light tank. This SPG is an example of the successful use of an outdated chassis. The vehicle was equipped with a 75 mm short-barrel howitzer; however, attempts were made to fit a 75 mm tank gun into a modernized turret.

The M8A1 is an American tank destroyer with a turret at tier 4. It has good damage per minute at 1101. The tank also has a good top speed of 38 kph. The fact that this tank has a turret is quite strong as it can not be flanked easily unlike other tank destroyers as it has a turret. The tank also has 8 degrees of gun depression. The tank has a high alpha at 160 and fires a single shell dealing 160 damage after every 8.72 seconds. This tank sacrifices its damage per minute for its turret. It is a strong tank as it can play like a tank destroyer as well as a medium tank.

3. Hetzer

In 1943, the Wehrmacht was experiencing a dire shortage of StuG III tank destroyers because the joint U.S.-U.K. air raids caused considerable damage to the Alkett company's factory that produced these vehicles. December 1943, a decision was made to utilize the working capacities of the BMM company in Prague to start the production of tank destroyers. Components of the Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) tanks were widely used in the new vehicle. The prototypes were produced in March 1944. More than 2,800 vehicles were built by May 1945.

The Hetzer is a German tank destroyer at tier 4. This tank has pretty good armour and damage per minute. The tank is sitting at 1149. It fires a shell which deals 160 damage after every 8.36 seconds. The tank has moderate gun depression sitting at 8 degrees. It can work some hills in the game. The Hetzer also has a top speed of 42 kph. So it can get into position quickly and start shooting the enemy. The Hetzer has good statistics overall and can work many positions in the game.

2. M7

Development started in 1941. Initially, the vehicle was developed as a light tank; however, as the model gradually received extra armour and armaments, it was reclassified as a medium tank. Production of the M7 started in the fall of 1942. However, since the M7 was inferior to the mass-produced M4 Sherman in all parameters except speed and dimensions, the production was stopped. A total of 7 vehicles were produced.

The M7 is an American medium tank with pretty good damage per minute and trill armour. It sits at around 1123 damage per minute. The tank fires a shell which deals 140 damage after every 7.48 seconds. The tank also has 8 degrees of gun depression. This is good because when the tank is in a hold-down position it can bounce shells due to its troll armour. The tank is also fast with a top speed of 48 kph. The tank can zip around the map and fire shells at the enemy continuously.

1.  Matilda

Developed from 1936 through 1938. A total of 2987 vehicles were manufactured by August 1943. It was the only British tank to remain in service throughout World War II.

The Matilda is a British heavy tank at tier 4 with some incredible characteristics. It has amazing damage per minute which is rare to find on heavy tanks. The tank is sitting at 1455 damage per minute firing a shell which deals 90 damage after every 3.3 seconds. It can permanently track an enemy tank and destroy its hit points. The tank is not very slow either with a top speed of 28 kph. The Matilda not only has amazing damage per minute and good speed but it also has a very strong turret which comes in handy when the tank is using its 10 degrees of gun depression. It can hold most positions on hills and bounce shells coming from the enemy tanks. Overall the Matilda is a very strong tank which can ruin people's games if it is used correctly.
