Lots of games will have different dialogue options for either a "good" or evil" path, but not many can boast a "snarky" or "nice" mechanic.
The Bard’s Tale follows an opportunistic adventurer and musician, as he travels across the world attempting to hone his skills through deeds both heroic and silly. While the game makes numerous references to the original trilogy, it plays more to the action / adventure genre, and the main character is driven more by carnal than noble desires, constantly setting himself up for encounters that only serve as side quests in other titles. This sets the stage for a game that can deliver plenty of laughs, both through the seemingly exasperated narrator (Tony Jay), and the truly bizarre encounters the player has with characters in the game (such as the singing trio above). Expect a mix of action and laughter in this journey of a noble bard on Steam today!

10. Undertale
When a game gets the Dunkey treatment, it's probably worth picking up (and a few laughs)
The biggest indie hit of 2015, Undertale has been heralded for its soundtrack, storytelling, and perhaps most notably, its wit
Undertale details the adventures of Frisk, a human who has fallen underground into the Ruins, and must attempt to find their way back to the surface. Sounds pretty easy, right? Try adding in some talking skeletons (one of whom you can proposition for a date), dog enemies who only wish to be pet, a love affair with a singing robot, and a mouse determined to find its cheese, and you've got a game that is never short on providing a good laugh every couple of minutes. Featuring a host of unique endings, each with their own special reveals based on how you played the game, Undertale emphasizes just what it means to be human, and according to this game, means laughing quite a bit.

9. South Park: The Fractured But Whole
How the fracturing of the two parties will be made whole is truly the driving force of this narrative
When South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone say that they believe video games are the future for the franchise, you can only expect a game that’s nothing but true to form.
After a fight breaks out between the members of the group, you're forced to pick sides as you (the "New Kid") fight your way in South Park in the sequel to The Stick of Truth. Announced a year ago in 2015, the game received a never before seen trailer at this year’s E3 expo, and touts a new combo attack system and super power abilities that match each kid’s hero identity. While not much else is known about the game at the time, you can be sure that with Matt and Trey at the helm, this game will be a necessity for any South Park fan.

Similar to the previous title on this list, Monkey Island is a point and click adventure from the 1990’s that features zombies, pirates, pirate zombies, and hilarious dialogue at every encounter. You assume the role of Guybrush Threepwood, an aspiring pirate, as he sets out to complete the trials set upon him by the pirate leaders of the island, all the while learning about the exploits and stories of the ghost pirate LeChuck (did I mention there were pirates in this game?). Point, click, and laugh your way around Mêlée Island, and if you play your cards right, you’ll be a pirate in no time.

This constant battle between father and baby will keep you coming back for laughs again and again, as each playthrough turns out a little bit different from the one before it.

After being crushed by stage scenery working a gig, Eddie’s belt buckle turns out to be a mystical amulet, and transports him to a world inspired by the artwork of heavy metal albums. Turns out you might just be the chosen hero of prophecy, and now it’s up to you to overcome the forces of evil and save your mom. The story plays out just like a Jack Black movie (think Tenacious D), and never stops providing the laughs as you and Jack fight your way through hordes of enemies as you make friends along the way. Grim Fandango is a game about travel agent Manny Calavera and his job of guiding the newly dead to the Underworld. Simultaneously, it’s Manny’s job to determine what exact part of the Underworld they’re to go to: the Land of the Dead, or the Land of Eternal Rest. Good deeds in life grant you access to better travel packages, and Manny thinks he’s found a woman who can go straight to level nine. Much to his surprise, she is denied entry, and it’s up to Manny to find out why. Enjoy a story filled with line after line of one liners and quips as you venture further and further into the Underworld, and experience a true video game classic.
Grim Fandango takes the subject of Death and puts a humorous spin on it like no other game
