With Age of Darkness: Final Stand early access mode being out for over a week, there has been a multitude of comments and a significant amount of community feedback related to bugs, issues, and features in the game.
Age of Darkness has responded with a hotfix that makes several improvements and deals with a number of bugs and issues.
One of the key improvements that was made is that when upgrading a building, the maximum number of villagers will be assigned to the task if they are available. This reduces the hassle of having to manually assign more villagers to a task and having to search a busy map for idle villagers.
There have been alterations to the symbols that appear above buildings. Several user interface errors have been fixed, and multiple language and spelling errors have been corrected.
Several bugs have also been fixed with this patch. Among the most significant are that players will no longer get stuck near the map edge. Another important bug fix is that the ‘Horrified’ status will disappear once the status deactivates.
So no more being scared silly because the cause of characters’ horror is nowhere to be seen!
Lastly, but also very importantly, 2 crash issues have been fixed. The one issue that was fixed is that the game would sometimes crash as a result of the Resource UI during building upgrades, and as a result of an audio component.
The full patch notes are available on Steam, giving a detailed account of the changes that come with this patch.
