‘Nightmare of Decay’ is a first-person horror survival shooter game set in a creepy old manor that is filled with zombies and the crazy cultists that created them. Yep. They created zombies. Now, why the heck would anyone do that? Color me flabbergasted!
The story starts out with a normal night. You go to bed to sleep. But then things take a very, very bad turn. You wake up in a creepy old manor that is crawling with cultists, zombies, and a host of other stuff that go bump in the night…
Your only chance of survival is to fight them off. Naturally, like any normal person, you didn’t go to bed wearing body armor and clutching a gun. Unfortunately, this means that all you have at your disposal is whatever you manage to salvage and pick up around the old manor.
You need to navigate the rooms and hallways of the multistory manor to try and find your way out and to safety.
Of course, this is much easier said than done, since the entire place is crawling with enemies. Your only chance at survival is to fight your way to safety, dodging cultist bullets and trying not to get eaten by a zombie before you manage to shoot it.
Unfortunately, life has decided to make things even harder for you. There is a limited quantity of ammo and resources such as medicine. This means that you need to conserve ammo and meds by not spraying and praying, and by trying not to get hurt.
‘Nightmare of Decay’ is developed by ‘Checkmaty.’ The game was released on Steam in May 2022.
