People like to believe that there is some good in every person. This may be true, even though it often seems not to be. However, there is the fact that there is also a darker, more evil side to every person.
‘Eville’ is a social deduction game that allows players to unleash their darker side. The bad guys in ‘Eville’ will need to harness their powers of deception and travel the dark path of murder and mayhem. Not in real life of course!
In ‘Eville’ there is a village with a bunch of villagers. Some of the villagers are conspirators who conspire to murder innocents. As the game progresses, the innocent civilians must do their best to figure out who the murderers are and eliminate them before the murderers successfully wipe out all the innocents.
Players are assigned the class of civilian or murderer automatically. Additionally, each class has different characters that have unique perks and abilities.
Every night, the murderers meet and decide who to murder. During the day, the civilians meet and pick an unlucky individual for execution for the crime of murder. If the one they pick was guilty, hooray! If not, well, unlucky!
While this might sound simple, the murderers will require every last dredge of their deceptive social skills to stay ahead of the game and not get caught. Similarly, powers of observation and a keen understanding of social interaction and behavior will come in very handy for the players trying to figure out who the murderers are…
‘Eville’ is based on popular party games such as ‘Werewolf,’ and is developed by ‘VestGames.’
