Fear is a powerful emotion. Fear can also be a powerful enemy and an even more powerful weapon. After all, there’s a reason that people can be paralyzed by fear. It overwhelms them to such a degree that their mind and body stop functioning normally and logically, making them easy prey.
‘Phobies’ is built on every fear that has been had on the face of planet Earth. Best believe there’s a fat stack of them! Fears span every aspect of life, from waking to dreaming, and from disease, to pain, to food. Everything has a fear associated with it. Someone, somewhere, is afraid of it!
‘Phobies’ has an extensive collection of ‘Phobies,’ or fears, for players to unlock and upgrade into living horrors as they progress through the game. Strategy is a key component of ‘Phobies,’ as strategic card combinations and upgrades are the roads to victory.
‘Phobies’ features single-player challenges and a practice mode for players to test out different strategies and sharpen their strategic thinking skills. Multiplayer is asynchronous, allowing players to challenge multiple people at the same time and keep playing constantly.
Additionally, there is an ‘Arenas’ mode where players can compete for leaderboard positions live against other players. ‘Phobies’ is great for stomping on friends and showing them who the alpha in the group is! Nothing like stepping on people with their worst fears…
