Since the beginning of humankind, humanity has had to battle Mother Nature to survive. Freezing cold winters, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, ice-ages, and heatwaves. Nature never seems to run out of ways to try and destroy the midgets that roam her surface.
‘Snowrunner’ pits man against nature in a unique setting. The world of cargo and shipping is crucial for the modern world to function normally, and sometimes moving cargo is a battle against the elements.
Players must take on missions, or contracts, to deliver cargo to various locations, most of which are way off the beaten track, and some of which only a madman would accept… The game features over 40 of the most powerful vehicles iconic brands such as Ford, Chevrolet, and Freightliner have to offer.
Every mission has its own unique challenges, whether it’s a narrow, winding mountain pass, deep mud, or thick snow, players will always have to battle to stay on the road and complete their contract.
Players can choose to take their jobs on alone, or they can invite friends and form a trucker convoy with the game’s 4-player co-op mode. ‘SnowRunner’ has dozens of different missions and contracts that all take place in a single “interconnected” world.
As players progress and make more money, they can buy new vehicles and upgrade the vehicles they have, such as snow chains, snorkels, better engines, and more.
‘SnowRunner’ is developed by ‘Saber Interactive.’ The game was released on Steam in May 2021 and has received very positive reviews ever since.
