Top 5 Wow Guilds in 2015 and Their Achievements Thus Far
Joining a guild in World of Warcraft can be an very exciting event and often makes the game much more enjoyable to play. Getting in to the very top WoW guilds is rather difficult though since it requires proper gear, a high level of skill, and a strong performance at the application trial. This list below is composed of some of the absolute top WoWguilds.
The ranking is based on the most recent performance data as well as historical achievements. One huge factor that will be taken into account is the place in which the guild completed the most recent Blackrock Foundry raid. Also, most of this information is in regards to PvE. This guild is included for a little bit of additional diversity. For some reason most of the world’s top wow guilds are all on the EU servers. So I had to dig a little bit into the rankings to find a solid horde guild from America. They were the 4th guild to take Blackhand down and were 39th in the world. Now 39th place might sound like an awful lot but you have to consider that WoW is a game with millions of players. In fact, it has more players than a lot of countries have people. Being the 39th guild in the world is still impressive when you consider that most of the average players won’t get a shot at Blackhand until he’s been downed thousands of times.
Duality doesn't have nearly as many Feats of Strength achievements as the rest of the guilds on this list, but they consistently place in the top rankings for WoW content. They were 11th in the world to take down Garrosh Hellscream (3rd in the US), 9th in the world for the Paragons of the Klaxxi, and 11th for Ra-den. The guild is still pretty new as it was founded right before the release of the Dragon Soul raid. Duality came about as a result of a merger between to relatively small guilds, and they have since climbed the rankings and is now considered one of the world’s best raiding guilds.

This is a horde guild on the EU servers playing on the Draenor realm. They are officially number 9 on the list of defeating Blackhand after a mere 450 wipes.
They are actively recruiting so if you live in Europe and play on Draenor as horde then check them out here. They, like all the other guilds on this list, have plenty of realm first raid boss achievements. They also have numeros Feats of Strength achievements revolving around challenge mode dungeons, professions, and arena PvP teams.
Their record has been great for the last few tiers of content released, but it appears that they are still a relatively new guild. This could mean that there are lots of recruitment opportunities for those interested in applying.
3. Midwinter

Moving on to an American and also the first Alliance guild on the list, Midwinter exists on the US-Sargeras server. Sargeras is known for being one of the biggest, if not the biggest alliance server in the game. Midwinter was the first US guild to down Blackrock Foundry on Mythic difficulty and thus became the 3rd guild in the world to do so.
They have quite a number of realm firsts on their resume including: Deathwing, Nefarian, Sinestra, and the Sha of Fear. Midwinter is considered by many to be the number 1 Alliance guild in the world due to their impressive achievements and activity level in the game. Their application can be found on their website. If you are interested in becoming a member, make sure to take your time on the application. Top WoW guilds won’t consider you if you’re sloppy or unprofessional.
2. Paragon

Here is yet another horde guild that plays on the EU-Lightning’s Blade server. They competed against Method in the race for the race for Blackrock Foundry but came up just short. Of course it was a huge disappointment for Paragon, but second place in the world’s first competition in WoW is still quite the achievement. Paragon definitely ranks among the top WoW guilds for its consistent realm first achievements for most raid bosses going all the way back to Nefarian.
The guild is fully Finnish but I believe they may make exceptions for Swedish players. The best way to contact them is via their website. The guild master’s name is Seita with Fragi and Verdisha as the guild officers.

Method is an old horde guild on the EU-Twisted Nether server that goes back to early 2005. It is a guild with a roster of over 300 members. They are still active today under the same leader and founder, Scott McMillan. The guilds best achievement was the world’s first achievement for beating Lady Vashj in 2007. However, just a few months ago Method won the race for yet another World’s first which was Blackrock Foundry. Other than that they have been featured live at Gamescom 2013 and have racked up quite the resume of impressive achievements including several realm firsts.

Unfortunately for the King Varian Wrynn fans, the Alliance is currently being beat by the more popular horde on the ranking boards. If you love Gnomes then don’t let that deter you though.
