‘Undead Citadel’ throws you headfirst into medieval mayhem in a medieval city crawling with ancient zombies that need to be hacked to pieces.
I’m sure plenty of people have fantasized about what it would have been like to live in medieval times and fight enemies with swords, spears, and axes instead of with guns, bombs, and planes.
Unluckily for us, time travel isn’t actually a thing and so we’re stuck in modern times and will never know what it was like to fight like a medieval knight. But that’s where ‘Undead Citadel’ comes in.
‘Undead Citadel’ is a virtual reality game that simulates a medieval zombie apocalypse. The game uses a hybrid physics combat system to make sure that player movements are mimicked perfectly in-game, and with minimal input lag.
Players must fight zombies of ancient times using over 60 different weapons. Hack enemies to death with swords and axes, smash their skulls with massive war hammers and maces, or show off your archery skills by going all-out Legolas on them!
Each weapon has unique strength and durability features, forcing players to carefully consider which ones they love the most and which weapons suit their playstyle and skillsets best. Freezing abilities and strength mutations are but 2 of the numerous skills players can pick up to boost their deadliness.
‘Undead Citadel’ has a gripping story campaign for the eager story-hungry players and then a ‘horde mode’ for the guys and girls whose only wish is to hack and slash bad guys to death. Movement is silky-smooth to make for the ultimate combat experience.
So if you’re a knight in shining armor looking for hordes to slay and damsels in distress to save, ‘Undead Citadel’ might be the way to go!
