Imagine for a moment what it would be like to be a gun. Not to use one, or control one, but to actually be a gun. Feel the heat of the expanding gases that propel projectiles down barrels with ear-shattering velocity towards the enemy. Absorb the pulse as the recoil pushes you back.
‘Uragun’ essentially makes players the gun. Players play the role of a friendly battle mech that is looking for their lost pilot and needs to fight off hordes of corrupted machines that are controlled by a corrupt AI in order to find and save their pilot.
‘Uragun’ is built to maintain the speed and momentum of combat, with enemy units constantly pushing and trying to outmaneuver the player, forcing players to think on their feet, to keep moving, and to strategically maneuver their mech to hit enemies hard where they are weakest and avoid their strongest and most brutal attacks.
The friendly mech has special abilities that can be used to gain an advantage over the corrupted machines by absorbing the energy that is left behind on the ground after they are destroyed to charge these abilities. Missions are short and explosive.
Each mission brings the mech closer to their pilot and allows players to build and obtain newer, better weapons and gear, as well as abilities, with customizations and upgrades being available throughout their journey.
The beauty of the worlds in which ‘Uragun’ is set should not be a distraction but rather motivation to overcome the corrupt AI to make the world safe so that its beauty can be thoroughly enjoyed.
‘Uragun’ is developed by ‘Kool2Play’ and is scheduled for a March 2022 release on Steam.
