‘Warhammer’ is an old-time classic tabletop RPG game that dates back many years.
‘Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’ takes the old school RPG and brings it back to life in a futuristic setting in the 41st Millenium, with highly advanced technology, weapons, and an ultra-advanced civilization.
In ‘Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’ players can embark on an in-depth story campaign that comprises over 20 different missions in a range of different locations. According to developers, the story explores the ‘aftermath of the Devastation of Baal.’
Players can build up their armies with a wide range of different units, unique heroes, over 50 different weapons, and 60 different abilities that can be used by their troops to gain an edge during battle.
Players can make use of a variety of different tactics, including calling in air support, live loadout customization, and building what developers have termed ‘Momentum.’
Gaining momentum can give units a boost that can help them outperform their usual abilities and become more effective against enemy units.
The game further features both “live and asynchronous” multiplayer that allows players to challenge their friends to live battles to determine who makes the best military commander and strategist, settle arguments, or even just to have fun.
‘Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’ is developed by ‘Black Lab Games,’ and is available on Steam.
