[Top 10] Adventure Cartoons For Kids

The city may be big. But the lengths they go are even bigger.

10. Uncle Grandpa

He’s your uncle! He’s your grandpa! He’s your Uncle Grandpa! He’s everyone’s Uncle Grandpa! The jolly, ageless child-at-heart travels around the world in his magical RV, helping people in need. Wacky, random, and always pulling something out of his fanny pack called Belly Bag, UG is that family you wish you had. Or grateful you didn’t.

This is the IMAGINATION classic Spongebob was talking about in that box episode.

While it may seem weird and questionable to some people, so what? Dreams and creativity have no limit! And UG makes that very clear with every segment, every episode, every line that comes out of his mouth.

9. Craig of the Creek

Craig and his friends often venture to The Creek, a place where different kinds of “societies” play and craft together. Every part of this wondrous place carries friends, enemies, and mysteries waiting to be discovered.

This show is so wholesome. Like Bluey wholesome.

Some of us probably have never even gone camping. Yet somehow after watching this show you just want to find your own Creek too.

8. Adventure Time

Evil kings. Diplomatic princesses. Creatures of all sizes, species, and desires. Finn and Jake explore it all as they fight to protect royals like Princess Bubblegum from the Ice King. Or saving an entire civilization from plummeting. Maybe even perform music with the Vampire Queen. It’s always an adventure!

Every second of this show is an absolute meme.

7. Big City Greens

After losing the farm, Bill Green and his kids move to Big City and into his mother’s house. The city is a massive, intimidating place for country folk. But somehow the Green family’s “countryness” rubs off on some of the locals. Some rub others the wrong way. But hey, you can’t please everyone!

When I first watched this, I thought it was a silly, good show.

But then it presented some realistic issues: capitalism, discrimination, young adulthood, future expectations, family struggles, etc.

You’d think it would just be about a boy and his family experiencing city life. True, it is.

But mostly just life.

6. Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart

Finding himself responsible for destroying Pure Heart Valley’s defenses, Mao Mao appoints himself as sheriff. With his best friend and partner Badgerclops by his side, and tagalong kid Adorabat learning from her favorite hero, they are a force to be reckoned with!

If you fused a cat, anger management, and Samurai Jack, you would have Mao Mao.

5. Jellystone

After 30 years without our beloved Hanna-Barbera classics (no, Scooby-Doo and those cash cows don’t count), we finally can see Yogi, Boo Boo, Huck, Snagglepuss, and everyone again! Funnier, wackier, and more troublesome than ever before!

“Chowder” and “Harvey Beaks” creator C.H. Greenblatt described this show as a crossover of several Hanna-Barbera characters living in the titular town "where they can't help but make trouble for one another".

So if any of you goddamn “nostalgists” start bitching over the genderbent thing, GTFO. Greenblatt made these characters 100 times better than the original with some added quirks that are genius.

And honestly, I never liked Jabberjaw until watching this show. Genderbending the character and adding a boy-obsessed sweetheart personality made me fall in love with her.

4. Wander Over Yonder

The creator of “The Powerpuff Girls” and “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” gives us Wander, a cheerful, overly optimistic universal traveller. With his best friend and trusty steed Sylvia, he vows to help any soul in space. No matter how big. No matter how small. Now matter how evil. Which is why self-proclaimed universal conqueror Lord Hater is always top on his list.

I still hate Disney for cancelling this. We NEED that third season and give this show a proper, more resolved finale!

3. Glitch Techs

What was supposed to be a gaming competition became a life-changing experience with digital monsters coming into the real world. Two kids, Five and Miko, are recruited to become Glitch Techs. Looks like their gaming prowess just hit a whole ‘nother level!

WE. NEED. SEASON. 3.

LISTEN TO US ALREADY, NICK.

2. The Amazing World of Gumball

Gumball is an anthro blue cat who just can’t seem to avoid trouble. Especially when he’s usually the cause of it. In this world, chaos is an everyday thing added to the wild, weird energy the town of Elmore always provides. But just remember: Nobody’s a nobody, and everybody’s is weird like you and me!

After a few years in development hell and thinking that “The Inquisition” was the last we’ll ever see of Gumball and crew, we finally got what we wanted.

A movie. And a spin-off.

We waited this long to get that news. We’re willing to wait until we can finally see Gumball and all our friends again. And hope for a better, HAPPIER ending.

1. Amphibia

This was not how Anne wanted to celebrate her birthday. Being pressured by her friends to ditch her own birthday party. Being pressured to steal some old-looking music box as her “birthday gift”. Being suddenly transported to a whole new world inhabited by frogs. She finds herself under the care of the Plantar family until she can find a way home. So much for a Sweet 13.

By the time this article is published, you’ll be watching season 3.

We all know why this made #1 on the list. Even with the Ghost and Molly McGee already on Disney Channel, we’re all obsessed with Amphibia right now.

Well, that and Anne Boonchuy is the REAL Disney princess (sorry, Mulan).
