[Top 10] Apex Legends Best Valkyrie Skins That Look Freakin' Awesome

Best Apex Legends Valkyrie Skins
The winged avenger is serious when it comes to the games.

10. Turquoise Sun (Good)

This Rare skin is a staple for any Valkyrie mains, it may be one of the simpler designers in her wardrobe but it sure is stunning.

What makes Turquoise Sun awesome:

  • The colours scream class, from the bold turquoise blue of her bodysuit to the golden accents, she looks rich and this skin compliments her character perfectly!
  • With its somewhat easier accessibility to players, it makes the ideal beginner customisation for this fan favourite character.
  • Like all Valkyrie skins, the attention to detail is insane here. Even for a simple skin, no corner has been missed when it came to the designs for Turquoise Sun.

Availability: Turquoise Sun could originally be obtained as part of the Legacy Pack Bundle during Season 9 but can now be purchased on all Apex available platforms for $4.99.

9. Intricate Detail (Great)

Another Rare skin on the list, there is just no ignoring how insane Valkyrie skins are, this one arriving in Season 9 with this liquor-obsessed Legend, many fans were sure to want this in their catalogue.

What makes Intricate Detail awesome?

  • As its name suggests, the details sure are intricate. Everything about this skin is *chef’s kiss* The pinks combined with the floral design of her bodysuit go to prove, once again, that a simple skin doesn’t need to be simple.
  • Arriving with Valkyrie for free in the Battle Pass, Intricate Detail set the bar high for future Valk skins to come.
  • Because of the way in which players could obtain this skin, it’s up there as one of her rarer skins with players not being able to get it if they didn’t reach level 53 of Season 9’s Battle Pass.

Availability: Intricate Detail was part of the Season 9 Legacy Battle Pass and could be obtained for free by playing the game.

8. Spatial Anomaly (Great)

Next up, we have one of Valkyrie’s spookier skin, fitting for its release during the Monsters Within Themed Event. If you’re a Halloween lover then this Epic skin is a MUST in your collection.

What makes Spatial Anomaly awesome?

  • Halloween-themed skins, they’re always a winner and who doesn’t love to see holiday-themed cosmetics?
  • While her bodysuit is pretty standard Valk, the detail is all in the face. Showcasing a ghostly white complexion, faint blue veins on her cheeks and deathly black eyes. There is no forgetting that stare anytime soon.
  • Like most holiday-themed skins, this one is likely to make a return to the shop during the spooky season so keep an eye out if you haven’t already got your hands on it.

Availability: Spatial Anomaly could originally be obtained during the Monsters Within Event during Season 9, it was then available through packs and can now be crafted with 400 crafting materials.

7. Air Orchid (Epic)

This Legendary futuristic cyberpunk-inspired skin showcases a whole new look for our girl Valkyrie. Armed in royal purples from head to toe, there's no messing with cyborg Valk.

What makes Air Orchid awesome?

  • The name of this skin just makes it that much better, the flying flower. (I think it's sweet okay.)
  • Intense purples are usually associated with royalty and wealth and here we see Valk in a full purple get-up, there's nothing more fitting for this rich flyer.
  • Her futuristic visor really pulls the whole outfit together, not to mention it makes her look like a badass superhero.

Availability: Air Orchid could be obtained during Season 12’s Anniversary Collection Event and may likely be back in the next Anniversary Event (held every February).

6. Cloud Marauder (Epic)

Representing Valkyrie’s smuggler past, this Legendary skin quite literally means air raider, so beware if you come across a Valk dressed in this pirate skin.

What makes Cloud Marauder awesome?

  • We love cosmetics that intertwine with the heroes' lore, so when this Cloud Marauder was released (quite fittingly) in the Raiders Collection Event it was exciting to see a little link to the past of Valk.
  • With her hair pulled back into a ponytail and a pirate-like bandana headband, this skin gives Valkyrie a slightly different look to her usual gundam-esc metal gear.
  • Sky pirate. Pirate of the sky. Isn’t that the sickest concept?

Availability: Cloud Marauder could be obtained through packs and crafting during the Season 11 Raiders Collection Event.

5. Slingshot (Epic)

Quickly becoming a fan favourite during its release in the Unshackled Event, Slingshot is another unique Legendary cosmetic that had Valkyrie mains eager to get their hands on.

What makes slingshot awesome?

  • Another on-theme skin making the list, here Valk has swapped out her usual bodysuit for a more armour-clad prison-looking jumpsuit.
  • A neat feature of this skin is the barcode on the shaved side of her head, further tying into the Unshackled theme of the look.
  • Her face mask looks sick, paired with the somewhat unique colour palette of her outfit and armour, this skin doesn’t struggle to stand out.

Availability: Slingshot could be obtained using Apex coins and crafting materials during Season 12’s Unshackled Event and can now be purchased in the Legends menu for 2,400 crafting materials.

4. Aerial Evolution (Legendary)

This standout skin got its inspiration from dragonflies and may just be Valkyrie's most unique skin to date. Also is anyone else noticing a colour palette theme with her outfits?

What makes Aerial Evolution awesome?

  • Who isn’t a sucker for on-theme skins (we know I am) but seriously, the Respawn designers nailed the skins for Emergence, particularly this one!
  • Valkyrie is officially the queen of purple, who does purple better than her? (I’ll wait).
  • The small details on her wings to make them look like bug wings, along with her goggles and horns are just the icing on the cake for this oh-so-cute cosmetic.

Availability: Aerial Evolution was part of Season 10’s Emergence Battle Pass and could be obtained by purchasing the Premium Battle Pass.

3. Birthright (Legendary)

Coming up bronze in this list of awesome skins, we have another fan favourite and rightfully so. This Legendary skin is beyond sick and anyone who dons this skin during games will be the envy of all enemies they encounter.

What makes Birthright awesome?

  • I mean, just look at it. It’s awesome.
  • Very reminiscent of her father Viper's armour in Titanfall 2, which is super neat and gives this already unique skin another element to its originality.
  • This legendary skin also has another unique aspect to it, in the form of a special select screen animation when selecting it, making it one of Valk’s rarest skins.

Availability: Birthright could originally be obtained through an exclusive Valkyrie Launch Bundle for 3,000 Apex Coins. The bundle has since returned to the shop on two occasions.

2. Omatsuri Fury (Legendary)

Silver on our list is another Legendary skin, the only skin in which Valkyrie isn’t in her typical jumpsuit, as well as the colour palette of bright yellows makes this a standout cosmetic in her collection, this is easily one of her best skins!

What makes Omatsuri Fury awesome?

  • There's a clear nod to Valkyrie’s Japanese heritage in this skin. Wearing a yellow and white floral kimono paired with an orange hachimaki belt, this combination makes for a very elegant, individual cosmetic.
  • ‘Omatsuri’ means ‘festival’ in which Gods/Buddha are worshipped and celebrated in Japan, alongside giving gratitude towards nature, good health and harmony.
  • Also, please look at her “wings”, that small detail is just fantastic.

Availability: Omatsuri Fury was part of Season 9’s Genesis Collection Event and has since returned in two separate bundles.

1. Fluorescent Tech (Legendary)

Going for gold, we have Fluorescent Tech, up there as one of the best skins - not just for Valkyrie but every Apex legend.

What makes Fluorescent Tech awesome?

  • Firstly, the colours, they’re mesmerising. The vibrant blues, blending down into an ombre of purple mixed with the patterns throughout her outfit just make for something you can’t take your eyes off.
  • This style is so different to what we normally see this flying goddess in, swapping her short pixie cut and pilot’s bodysuit for a whole new haircut and very on-trend streetwear. While every Valk skin is exceptional, this one is just on a whole other level of standing out.
  • To complement the cyber tech streetwear, she has LED accents, if that doesn’t make you want to own this skin and head to the dark entrance of the firing range then I’m not sure what will.

Availability: Fluorescent Tech could be obtained from the Apex shop during the Season 13 Summer Sundown Sale.
