Oh Deer!
Do you consider yourself to be a deer hunter? Do you like shooting rabbits for fun? Are you too scared to go after people because of a long sentence? Great, I will show you a list of epic games that are for people too scared to hunt bears in real life! Let’s start with:
11. BIGFOOT
I think we get the idea of what’s going on in this game. It revolves around you or your buddy screaming, while the other one is sitting comfortably inside of their watchtower or camping truck. Your goal is simple - hunt down the Bigfoot. He’s big and mean, if you get hit by him, it’s gonna hurt, that’s why you should put traps everywhere and bail the F out when you see him coming!
10. theHunter: Call of the Wild™
So here I was, walking around the steep mountains, while all of the sudden, there was an uprising of pissed off bucks - I don’t know how many deers or bucks or whatever there was, but I knew that I could not let myself fall victim to this mob of angry animals. I pulled out my scoped magnum and went to town with it - the bucks put up a good fight, but they were no match for my gunslinger skills…
I walked up to the last buck alive and heard it say “Why”? I responded with:
“lol idk”.
9. Cabela's Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts
If you got sick of shooting a single baby deer with a revolver 7-8 times, then in this game you might face animals that might pose more of a threat than a lost baby deer. In this game, you might encounter bears, and these things will really F your day up if you don’t score a headshot. Of course, if you’re a man of honor, you can skip bears and continue to hunt deer and whatever.
8. Hunt: Showdown
Take hunting to an extremely new level - instead of animals, you’ll be hunting monsters. The monsters can be very lethal, have diverse abilities to kill you with and they’re pretty bullet-spongy. If you’re not a fan of PVP, don’t worry, this game also has a PVE option. Find more items, treasures, and all the glory that comes with being a monster hunter!
7. Hunting Simulator 2
A game that’s not super popular, but it looks and runs fantastically. Another thing that you might find fascinating about this game is the fact that it has over 30 animals in total to hunt. Headshot them, shot them in the gut, watch them cry for help, track them down and finish them off with a gorgeous headshot. Realistic and beautiful terrain will keep you intrigued for hours to come!
6. Deer Hunter Classic
You guys watched that movie “Deer Hunter”? It actually has very little to do with deer hunting and this game exactly reminds me of that movie. It doesn’t have any Vietnam in it or PTSD, but it has deer hunting…
Anyways, this game will require you to be extra sneaky - a small branch snap might alert the animal that you’re hunting and watch it escape as you’re begging it to come back. Day and night cycles, gorgeous graphics, deers innocently drinking from a stream - what else can you wish for?
5. Cabela's African Adventures
Africa is a bit different from the European/North American landscape, animals are also slightly different - you might encounter elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and even lions! Travel by car or by foot, get mauled to death and all that pleasurable stuff. It’s a nice change of pace from the overplayed northern parts of the world!
4. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2
A game with… “unique” graphics, especially for a game that’s from 2005. If you’re fan of games that look a bit antic, then this cupcake is most definitely for you. You’ll hunt animals both harmless and extremely hazardous to your health - bears. Blast leopards to the face with a shotgun and put their heads on your wall as a trophy!
3. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013
A game with awesome slow-mo effects and x-rays that will show the vital organs of animals that you’re hunting. The game is giving me RPG vibes, but also a strange sense of nostalgia. OH! I played this game when I was a 13-year-old prick! Yeah, guys, this game is awesome, if you want to shoot buffalos point blank, straight in the ass, then this game is most definitely for you. Graphics are also pretty eye-pleasing and the game has some plot that I never paid attention to - try it out!
2. Cabela's North American Adventures
This one is in North America. You’ll be hunting Karens, SJW,s and other animals. Just kidding, regular animals - bucks, deers, bears, and all that jazz. This time once again with a typical NA landscape - mountains, spruce trees, and gorgeous views. In this game, you’ll enjoy exploration itself and each successful hunt will feel satisfying - the game is awesome and one of the best - try it out!
1. Cabela's Hunting Expeditions
Frankly, all of these games are kinda the same, but this one beats the others with the advantage of playing in 3rd-person. That way you have more vision and don’t have to worry about missing out on an animal. Another unique thing about this lovely game is that you’ll be able to travel from place to place and explore different terrains.
Shoot a deer there, skin a buck here, ya know - this guarantees that you won’t get bored too quickly of playing in the same place over and over again. The game also has relatively nice graphics and fun gameplay - try it out!
