Warzone is a game mode that has a lot of long angles solely because the map has to be large to hold over 100 players in each game. This fact makes long ranged weapons well suited to this game mode, and what is better long range weapon than sniper rifles? In combination to being great for long ranges, sniper rifles can also down an enemy from full health in 1 shot making them incredibly strong.
The best sniper loadouts will have 1 shot to the head potential. After all, if it is not possible to get a 1 shot kill they aren’t better than fully automatic weapons. Once the sniper can 1 shot the next best stats are mobility, bullet velocity and damage range in that order.
Building weapons in Call of Dutys’ Warzone can be a challenge as there are so many different attachments to choose from. We’ve taken the time to find the 3 best sniper builds for Warzone and put those builds down below.
3. Victus XMR LoadoutImage
The Victus XMR is often overlooked even though it has some amazing potential in the sniper category. With this build it has great handling allowing for quick shots and aggressive play while staying silent with the suppressor that helps with bullet velocity. We have the SP-X 80 6.6x Optic on solely because the stock scope doesn’t feel good to use but if you're okay with it then certainly add Stock to help.
This sniper is great all around, not as fast as the MCPR and not as ranged as the Katt AMR but is good enough in both areas. The Explosive rounds are an absolute must have on this gun in order to make it a 1 shot to the head but causes the gun to have less damage range and bullet velocity. The suppressor is there to help a bit but you will notice that in the longer ranges.
Attachments:
- Ammunition: .50 Explosive Rounds
- Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
- Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x
- Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
- Laser: Kimura RYL33 Laser Light
What The Victus XMR excels in:
- Long range combat with great damage range and bullet velocity
- Great mid range potential with a fairly quick ADS speed
- Great all around sniper rifle, has more range but less mobility than the MCPR
2. MCPR-300 LoadoutImage
The MCPR-300 is the fastest one shot sniper in Call of Dutys’ Warzone. It has amazing handling especially with the 5 round magazine and has a great rechamber speed for multi kills. It does need the explosive ammunition to 1 shot to the head but the other attachments are to help make it quicker. If you wanted you could swap the stock for the Sonic Suppressor XL to help with the bullet velocity and damage range.
This weapon is amazing for the aggressive sniper on the team. You are able to run around with this weapon and pop heads quickly but you’ve got to be confident in your shot. If you’re a more laid back player I would look towards the Katt AMR or Victus over this build but if you want to have some fun, give this one a go.
Attachments:
- Ammunition: .300 Mag Explosive
- Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
- Magazine: 5 Round Magazine
- Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
- Stock: FSS Merc Stock
What The MCPR excels in:
- Quick rechamber speed with fast hands perk
- Great damage range with fast mobility compared to others
- Fast reload speed, so if you miss some shots you won’t need to wait long to try again
- Fastest ADS out of all one shot snipers
1. Katt AMR LoadoutImage
The Katt AMR is without a doubt the best sniper in the game right now, even after its recent nerf. The main reason behind this is that it’s the only sniper in the game that doesn’t need explosive rounds to be a 1 shot to the head. This makes the gun have more bullet velocity and damage range than all others. It isn’t the fastest sniper and you may have some troubles being super aggressive but try it out and you’ll understand why it's the best.
You can really use this weapon at most ranges like medium to far but I would be wary of using it really up close. This is simply because it is on the slower side and you would have trouble taking multiple enemies out up close. At any other ranges though, this sniper is unbeatable.
Attachments:
- Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
- Ammunition: .50 Cal Spire Point Rounds
- Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
- Rear Grip: Phantom Grip
- Stock: Tactical Stock Pad
What The Katt AMR excels in:
- Picking off enemies from long range with it’s one shot kill potential
- Great for getting a kill on an enemy to then push their team
- Play from distance or on rooftops to make the best use of this weapon
- Breaking armor from range and having teammates push to catch them off guard
- You don’t need to lead your shots much because of the bullet velocity
