Top 10 Best Empyrion Galactic Survival Seeds

Best Empyrion Galactic Survival Seeds
Suit up soldier!

Are you ready to mix things up?

It’s said that variety is the spice of life, but what do you do when your game leaves you with little to no replay value? It happens to every gamer at some point in his or her life. When you’re left with nothing to do, you can try starting a new game with a different seed.

In video games that use procedurally generated maps, the seed is a random string of text or numbers that affects the world in which your current game resides. In the case of Empyrion – Galactic Survival, the seed will determine which starting planets you can choose from and what resources are near your crash site.

Whether you’re a new player looking for an easier learning curve, or an experienced veteran trying to find a challenge, switching up your seed will shake up your game. Will you be stranded in the middle of a desert with no food and water? Or will you find yourself in a cozy abandoned base that you can claim as home on day one? Only the seed can say.

I’ve compiled a list of the top 10 best Empyrion – Galactic Survival seeds I could find and why they may strike your fancy.

10.   417285 Planet Name: Brandt

Level ground is always a good thing when starting your first base.

Relatively easy start for new or old players.

  • Plenty of flat and open land at the spawn area to build.
  • Located almost directly between all three factions in the game.
  • Point of Interest (POI) Hongo nearby.

9. 1980 Planet Name: Wicktor

Small wreckage for scrapping

Easy start for beginners.

  • Several small wreckages to salvage parts.
  • More ore nodes than usual near the starting point, including a rarer mineral that is required to reach space (no spoilers!)
  • Less hostile creature areas than normal.

8. 451948 Planet Name: Martek

Crashed spaceship Opportunity.

Slightly more challenging start, but that’s what makes it fun.

  • Very few basic resources nearby.
  • Crashed ship named Opportunity in the general vicinity which provides a few workstations that can either be utilized or scrapped.
  • Another rare ore is found on the same side of the planet, but in hostile territory. Are you willing to risk it for the biscuit?

7. 468593 Planet Name: Sinune

HAVOC rescue ship wreckage.

For those players who love combat.

  • Enough ore and wreckage to get you started quickly.
  • A HAVOC rescue ship can be found nearby, which is arguably the best place to snatch for a starter base.
  • Most of the map is already occupied by the three existing factions. If you’re itching to fight sooner rather than later, this may be the place for you.

6. 451948 Planet Name: Sulormu

Scrap metal for days!

Easy start.

  • The player starts in an Opportunity ship with a few basic workstations.
  • Multiple small wrecks for scrapping materials.
  • The starting ore nodes are near one of the more friendly territories, including one of the rarer ores.

5. 1980 Planet Name: Peum

Hongo starter base remains.

Probably the easiest start on this list.

  • The player begins in a Hongo POI.
  • Two rare ore nodes are nearby and in unclaimed territory.
  • There is an alien structure nearby to explore. Aliens are always hostile but can provide great loot if defeated.

4. 598061 Planet Name: Buoll

An alien building of unknown origin.

Looking to progress quickly? This one’s for you.

  • HAVOC rescue ship nearby for scraps, or to utilize for a starting base.
  • Somewhat close to rare ore deposits.
  • The starting area has alien structures in three directions.

3. 660118 Planet Name: Orreto

Enemy territories can be found everywhere on the map.

Mediocre start with high potential for combat and defense.

  • Several wreckages are available for scrapping.
  • A HAVOC rescue ship is also nearby.
  • Tons of hostile faction territory on this map. The more you fight them, the more they hunt you.

2. 33440 Planet Name: Athal

Crashed space shuttles can be used for parts or for shelter.

Difficult start. Meant for the veterans.

  • The three nearest POIs you encounter are hostile creatures.
  • Ore is scarce and a good distance away.
  • There is a Crashed Shuttle to loot, but of the standard POIs, this one is the least beneficial.

1. 430736 Planet Name: Ennira

Crash into the sea in your escape pod and hope you have enough oxygen left to make it to shore.

My personal favorite. The Goldilock’s start. Not too hard, not too easy.

  • Opportunity POI nearby, whether to scrap or occupy.
  • Your escape pod lands in the ocean which is unusual, but very “Cast Away”.
  • The existing faction territories are massive. Stealth will be important. Enemy bases are very far from their borders and patrols are everywhere.

Whether you’re an experienced player searching for a challenge or a newcomer who wants a little advantage, there should be at least a few seeds in this list that will meet your needs.
