What makes the Alpha-Z1 useful in my opinion is its speed and agility. Along with that it's also an armored plane giving added protection against rockets and bullets. This is a good choice for players who want to fly quickly or avoid obstacles.
Let's talk about the capabilities for the Alpha. This plane can withstand more damage than most in the game having a complete shell around its entire frame. The breaking is also good, as landing is easier and turning tight corners can be a breeze.(If you have enough room)

The P-45 Nokota is heavily inspired from WW2. It's a single seated interceptor that's great with speed and mobility, But most importantly dogfighting!
In my opinion while flying this in game, I found out that when the aircraft's landing gear is down, the plane's flaps lower redirecting airflow. This helps the player slow down just enough for that perfect landing.
Let's talk about the powers and capabilities. The P-45 can reach a top speed of 206 mph making it one of the fastest planes in the game. It also comes with dual machine guns and rockets, which are all fired from the front of the plane.

The volatol! This plane is great for one thing. Carpet bombing.
In my opinion this plane is not something I'd fly every time. Why? Because It has no homing missiles, just two machine guns on the top of the cockpit. Along with that the amount of bombs you can drop makes the volatol useful during business missions.
Because of its size, unfortunately this plane is terrible when it makes turns or goes at high speeds. The lack of armor also makes this a vulnerable target for other planes. The good thing about all of that though is it's able to hold 4 people.

The V-65 Molotok is slick in its designs and is very fast, able to compete with even the hydra.
Now this plane in my opinion is great but has one downside. You need to do 21 source missions to unlock it. What's great about the Molotok is the fast acceleration on take off. By far it's one of the quickest aircraft to do so.
The weapons included are missiles and regular machine guns. There are no explosive cannons on it like other planes but the missiles fly much faster than the hydra.

The Besra is a top of the line military fighter jet. Its small size makes it a nightmare to go against during dogfights.
In my opinion, I find the Bersa to be cheap. Now it is in the million dollar range but it's way less than the other aircraft mentioned. The speed is one of its key highlights, able to go up against the likes of a hydra or lazer.
The Bersa allows for very efficient dogfighting. The maneuverability of the craft is better than any other craft in the game because it's so light. It has the ability to outrun homing missiles and it breaks really fast.

The Buckingham Pyro is one of the unique looking planes on this list. This is a 2 seat fighter and has a ton of capabilities.
In my opinion the accuracy isn't the best when shooting ground targets but it's great for other planes. It's the fastest plane in the game as it has a top speed of 159 mph.

In my opinion the seabreeze is a plane every player should get. The problem is that not many know how good it is. You can go underwater and still survive. It also has missiles and explosive canons.
The seabreeze has a speed hack that allows you to outrun the orbital cannon and fly so fast that the map won't render you. Another one of its capabilities is its ability to not be blown up after being dipped.

The B-11 Strikeforce is another bomber. Another one known as the warthog, this destructive beast is one of the best planes in the game in terms of armor and weapons.
In my opinion The strike force is good at turning. I would say it's better than the hydra when making tight turns. Its airspeed is low but the maneuverability makes up for that being able to dodge homing missiles if far enough.
The B-11 strike force can withstand five homing missile shots before being blown up. This makes it one of the most durable in the game as far as aircraft go. Its armor is extremely resilient too, for example it takes 72 heavy sniper shots to blow up.

In my opinion what makes the hydra useful is its tight turning, it's great for dogfights and allows a skillful player to win battles or avoid obstacles.
The hydra comes equipped with explosive cannons,homing missiles, and countermeasures. It is capable of flying faster than the strikeforce and Molotok, and its takeoff speed is better than most.

Last on our list is the most common plane in the game. Who doesn't remember their first time jumping over that fence near the highway to get into the military base? Every player in the game has done this at least once.
In my opinion what makes this plane useful isn't the weapons or armor. But the fact is you can get this plane for free practically. If you can get into the military base and steal one;while at the same time staying out of the radar you’ll have a free plane. (Only problem with that is you can't store it in your hanger)
The Lazer comes equipped with two explosive cannons, machine guns, and homing missiles. It has a top speed of 316 km/h and can match planes such as the hydra and the pyro.
