Jujutsu Kaisen is a mix of sorcery, spells, and curses that amazes everyone. However, let's remember the action aspect of this tremendous anime.
When it comes to its fight scenes, JJK doesn't disappoint. It's only been one season, but the fans have been blessed with many nail-biting battles.
So, without further ado, let's begin with the top 10 Jujutsu Kaisen best fight scenes!
10. Gojo vs. Sukuna
Towards the end of the first episode, we witness the infamous Ryomen Sukuna (aka the villain of JJK) take over Yuji Itadori. However, Yuji can suppress Sukuna for the time being.
To his surprise, we are introduced to another cheeky character - Gojo Saturo, who insists Yuji let Sukuna out. Unsure of how things will turn out, Yuji still agrees to listen to the mystery man and allows Sukuna to take over.
And then we get to see how AWESOME Gojo Saturo is!
In ten seconds, both the characters show why they're the best of the best. Sukuna can only score a strike on Satoru with his strength and speed. Satoru effortlessly defeats Sukuna with a crushing blow.
Sukuna (with quite a distaste) announces his hate for all the sorcerers Sukuna before Yuji reclaims control of his body.
9. Nobara & Itadori vs A Random Curse
As a field test to assess Nobara's skills, Goju brings her to an abandoned building. As she wanders in the building, she soon comes across an ugly-looking Curse that has a little boy as a hostage.
Even though this is not a magnificent fight, it does show that Nobara is a softie. She loses her cool for a second, but Itador instantly comes to help and saves the boy. This allows Nobara to switch to her badass side, and she quickly eliminates the Curse.
8. Yuji/Sukuna vs. Cursed Spirit (The Finger Bearer)
The episode "Curse Womb Must Die" has to be one of my favorites because of this fighting sequence. Yuji and his team are expected to fight this Special Grade Cursed Spirit that has turned the juvenile detention center into his domain.
While Nobara is busy battling the smaller curses, Yuji and Megumi come face to face with the Finger Bearer.
Unfortunately, our favorite duo is not a match for the cursed spirit's sorcery. They quickly realize this, and Yuji plans to stall it as Megumi rescues Nobara and attempts to escape.
As this is happening, Yuji tries super hard to hold his ground against the Special Grade Cursed Spirit, but instead, he loses his fingers and a hand. However, as soon as he learns that Megumi and Nobara have safely made it out of the building - Sukuna takes over.
And what a transition that is! From a desperate, powerless human, Yuji transforms into the mighty and incredibly strong - Ryomen Sukuna. This fight is the first depiction of Sukuna's immense strength.
7. Megumi vs. Sukuna
This was a one-sided fight, as Sukuna had the upper hand.
For obvious reasons (as of now), we come across that our beloved villain has a soft side for Fushigoro Megumi. Is it because of his background? Or is it because of Megumi's sorcery? It's yet to be entirely known.
Megumi comes face to face with Sukuna after he defeats the cursed spirit in the juvenile detention center. Even though Megumi doesn't want to go up against his friend, he claims he has no choice.
Sukuna tosses and throws Megumi around like a ragged doll, but it can be seen that he thoroughly enjoys combat. And before we can conclude, Yuji takes back control and falls to the ground because Sukuna literally took his heart out.
6. Jogo Vs. Gojo
If we talk about class, then Gojo's name would top the list - for me, at least. Why? Because Gojo vs. Jogo showed with every second how elegant yet incredibly scary this man is.
Satoru's battle with Jogo is, without a doubt, the most exciting fight in Season 1. The battle begins when Jogo ambushes Satoru and fires explosive blasts that look to the land. Still, he is unable to injure the cunning sorcerer.
Jogo is super confused, while Gojo has the time of his life. Satoru even takes the time to travel and invites Yuji to observe their battle, demonstrating complete contempt for his opponent.
Infuriated, Jogo unleashes his Domain Expansion: Coffin of the Iron Mountain, only to be met with Satoru's Domain Expansion: Limitless Void. Jogo, unable to move, can only watch helplessly as Satoru decapitates him.
5. Mahito Vs. Nanami
Mahito is a wicked, immature, cursed spirit that delights in playing with people's emotions. He believes he was formed from human misdeeds and sees himself as the embodiment of humanity's hatred towards one another.
Kento Nanami takes on Mahito in the sewers of Kawasaki City. Nanami uses his Ratio Technique to cut Mahito's arm at the wrist after escaping his first assault. This inspires Mahito to disclose that his Idle Transformation Technique allows him to modify souls. He uses it to restore himself before flinging a cursed corpse at Nanami.
Even though Nanami can survive past his curfew, i.e.6, PM, and crushes Mahito under the debris of the sewer wall - our villain still manages to escape.
4. Mahito Vs Nanami & Itadori
Yuji erupts in a frenzy as Mahito murders Junpei Yoshino, attempting to score as many strikes with his Divergent Fist as possible. Mahito responds by attacking Itadori as he morphs his arms into different weapons.
Just as Mahito is about to finish off Yuji, Nanami enters and quickly joins forces with Itadori.
They both go on the offensive. Mahito, high on the adrenaline of the fight, manages to unleash his domain extension and confine Nanami inside. Still, it is insufficient, and Yuji rapidly bursts through the barrier.
However, because of this, Mahito touches Sukuna's soul, which pisses the King of Curses off.
He lands one fatal blow causing Mahito to bleed profusely. However, he flees into the sewers before he and Nanami can finish the battle, and he lives to fight another day.
3. Todo & Itadori Vs Hanami
The fight begins with Yuji trying to punch Hanami, but he becomes sidetracked and misses. In turn, Aoi slaps Yuji to get his attention back on the task. Yuji regains his composure and attempts again, landing a Black Flash blow that wounds Hanami.
Hanami uses its influence over plants and vegetation to launch attacks on its foes. Because of this, Todo and Itadori had difficulty keeping up with the tremendous strikes and regeneration skills of the cursed spirit Hanami during their combat.
Todo, a proficient jujutsu sorcerer and an accomplished manipulator, utilizes his skills to conjure a formidable barrier that Hanami cannot break through. Itadori, who possesses excellent physical strength and cursed energy, strikes Hanami with a decisive blow, killing the cursed spirit and ending the battle.
2. Megumi Vs. Finger Bearer Number 2
When Megumi first saw a Finger Bearer, he ran away, but he won't back down this time. Fans really wanted to see Fushigoro in action anyway, and this fight was a treat for our souls.
As soon as they go face to face against each other, the Finger Bearer immediately has the upper hand, putting Megumi on the back foot.
Megumi tries to utilize his shikigami, but the Finger Bearer is too fast. He is slammed into the wall, bleeding severely from his head.
He begins to pass in and out of consciousness as he loses control of his shikigami. Eventually, Megumi looks to be on the verge of defeat. Still, with determination, he activates his Domain Expansion, Chimera Shadow Garden.
Megumi can expel the CurseCurse with the help of his Holy Dog, Totality when the ground becomes covered in shadows that seize and assault the Finger Bearer.
1. Yuji & Nobara Vs Eso & Kechizu
Mystery fatalities have been linked to Megumi's old middle school, Saitama Urami East Junior High, so she, Nobara, and Yuji are dispatched to look into them. Megumi's stepsister is still in a coma, but the three learn that if they don't exorcize the CurseCurse, she, too, may die.
Yuji and Nobara are distracted from the fight by the appearance of two new curses. Eso and Kechizu, the brothers behind the Cursed Womb: Death Painting, appear to be winning their battle against the rookie Sorcerers.
The Decay method, developed by the cursed womb brothers, has infected Yuji and Nobara. They will rot away to nothing in minutes. Itadori and Nobara become the worst possible opponents for the Cursed Brothers.
Nobara uses the Brothers' blood in her system to deliver damage with her Straw Doll Technique: Resonance. Itadori is immune to poison and rots thanks to his superior physical traits and status as Sukuna's vessel. The fight concludes spectacularly as Itadori and Nobara each deliver Black Flash finishing blows in a duel.
