- It lacks a bit in strength, but we'll take it for how easily and early you can get it!
4. Hunny Spout
This one is a personal favorite, purely for how gosh-darned adorable it is. Not only do you get it early and easily, by completing the Hunny Acre Woods, it’s also good for cooking, which will help with achievements that will give you bonuses later down the line. It also has three Shotlock slots and has a pretty solid Form Change. Totally worth it for those who are just starting their run!
How to Obtain: Again, all you have to do is clear the Hunny Acre Woods.

3. Happy Gear
Happy Gear happily falls in the middle of our list. The previous two Keyblade have been geared towards Magic Users. Happy Gear diverges from that, sporting a stronger Strength stat compared to Magic. Its Form Change, Assault Claw, can prove very useful against hordes of enemies and bosses alike.
How to Obtain: Just clear Monstropolis, nad this keyblade is yours!
Happy Gear Review:
- Strong strength stat
- Powerful Form Change abilities allow you to barrel down enemies
- Has a low Magic stat, but its Strength stat more than makes up for it

- +6 Strength
- +2 Magic
- Focus Converter

1. Favorite Deputy
Favorite Deputy is definitely the favorite of this list, and for good reason. The Toy Box realm can be completed very early, and in return, you’ll get this keyblade. It has solid Strength and Magic stats—but that’s not the kicker. It has Lucky Strike. This ability will increase your drop rate of items, and we can all agree that players starting a new run could definitely use that. For all these reasons listed above, Favorite Deputy earns its spot as the best early game keyblade.
How to Obtain: No tricks here. Just compete the Toy Box!
