5. Stretch 4 Power forward (The quintessential build for a PF)
If you still wanna play the 4 in 2K you need this build. With a game predicated on the outside, this build gets open looks and jumpers with ease, especially with his size.
This is the best build if you specifically want a power forward on the team. He will give you shooting, A light passing game, and is still passable on inside defense with his length. It’s a jack-of-all-trades build, however that also means if you purely wanna shoot, score inside, or defend, there are way better options to go for.
What Power Forward Excels In:
- Rebounds all the extra shots that your center won't get
- Gets left open really easily on the perimeter.
- Can still throw it down in transition

- Undderated defense with the length and size

4. 2-Way Small Forward ( A do-it-all build)
This is the Only Small Forward build you should be using on NBA 2k16. A demon on both the offensive end and the defensive side too.
A Small Forward is built and meant to be the best all-around player. He has the defense, offense, ball handling, playmaking, and everything in between. Once again this is a build with no real weakness and some decent strengths, far from the best build in the game but it’s far from being non-viable.
What the 2 Way Small Forward Excels In:
- All Around Weapon from the perimeter, knockdown, and lights out when taking a jumper
- Locks up any 1 on 1 matchup
- Balanced at all aspects of the game.
- Out rebounds any guard matchup
- Keeps up with the guards' speed, but doesn't get bullied by big men with their strength

3. Paint Beast Center
Classic Big Man Build. A build that's been working since the early Mycareer days and since the 60s in the NBA, basketball just comes easy to big builds.
If you know and love the post-up game on 2K use this, and of course, this build is pretty grounded in the paint, so it's the build you use when you want high-percentage shots and defense focusing on inside blocks and contests.
What the Center Excels In:
- Dunks and Layup inside in the point
- Pick and roll game comes easy with lobs and feed inside
- No easy layups or dunks as long as he's in the play
- Can also have a fairly reliable Middy
- If you’re a smart enough player keeping up on the perimeter isn't impossible
Build details:
- 7’3 Height
- Inside scoring style
- 300 lbs
- 7’8 wingspan
- Upgrade everything except playmaking

With Steph Curry revolutionizing the 3-point game, you know a build dedicated to shooting would be incoming and this is that build.

1. All Around Point Guard
Just like in real life, if you wanna dominate you are gonna want a really good point guard.
The point guard is the all-around star in the NBA. The dominant teams of today are led by versatile pgs and this 2K is no exception. A do-it-all player is what you'll get and dominate with if you choose to go with this build.
