5. Pure Sharp Shooter
As a Sharpshooter you have one job when you're on the court, get open and hit shots. It gets repetitive, and it is one-dimensional but it is effective scoring.
What a Sharpshooter Excels In:
- Makes 99% of open shots you leave him with
- Can hit shots even from half-court with consistency.
- Green machine from every single shooting spot
- Insane at the pick-and-pop game.
- If he's high enough overall he’s also decent at things like defense, dunking, etc.
Build details:
- 6’8
- Shooting Guard
- 180 lbs
- Pure Sharpshooting archetype
4. Slasher Playmaking Small Forward
An all-around weapon as always. Point Forward builds just got deadlier using this combo of skills. We see players like LBJ dominate this playstyle and now you can too both online and in the Mycareer mode.
This build is predicated on being a really good ball handler, especially at Small forward. As a primary ball handler, you can distribute the ball or get in the paint off drives with ease and put the ball in with force
What a Slashing Playmaker Excels In:
- My Pick for the Best Pick and Roll player in the game
- Playmaking is balanced with tons of scoring on his own, taking the ball inside for nasty dunks and tough lays
- Drives can also mean easy feeds to a big man inside or pass out to open shooters
- Dominate smaller guards as a ball handler and speed past slower big men
- The transition game is on point with this build getting any fastbreak easy points
Build details:
- Small Forward
- 6’10
- 220 lbs
- Slasher archetype on the Primary and Playmaker as the Secondary archetype
3. Pure Post-Scoring Bigman
The single most dominant presence you can have on the inside. While getting some rebounding with a glass cleaner archetype is also useful, in my opinion, the pure dominance of a tall Center focused on post-scoring is unmatched.
Park your butt in the paint with this build. This guy has the absolute best post skills. With insane touch around the rim, carved-out acrobatic hooks and lays, or maybe strong finishes through contract, all of that is possible when you play this build
What a Post Scoring Center Excels In:
- Can post up from the 3-point line and carve space into the paint.
- Dunks and layups are a given bucket even under pressure
- Rebounding ratings may be low but it's made up for with build strength and length.
- The build is an Alley-oop finisher as well off of cuts and picks
- This build is a monster roll man too making it pretty versatile inside the 3-point line
Build details:
- Center
- Pure Post Scorer archetype
- 7’0 tall
- 340 lbs
- Max Wingspan
2. 3 and D player
On offense, you play like your average sharpshooter build. You find your spots and shoot at a super high clip. On defense, you are the no.1 star on the perimeter. You get steals contests and stuff shots and keep up on drives, making yourself incredibly versatile on the court.
What a 3 and D player Excels In:
- A top-tier player with scoring from the perimeter and midrange
- Not a bad dribbler, passer, or inside scorer
- Defense is the best with this build
- Steals that trigger breaks are always possible with this build
- Lock up the best perimeter player of the opposing team.
Build details:
- 6’6
- Shooting Guard
- 193 lbs
- Max wingspan
- 3-point shooter main archetype and Defense Secondary archetype
1. Shot Creating Playmaker
This Build is the quintessential offensive weapon. Your playstyle with this build on the offensive end is pretty much whatever you want as long as you dominate.
What a Shotcreating Playmaker Excels In:
- Shooting is a given this guy can create with ease
- Shot creators are also naturally just as good at driving layups and dunks
- A consistent jumper is on point
- Defense is there with the height and length
- Overall the most balanced and best player you can make
