It's going to be One Day in Hell when The Web-Slinger takes on The Spirit of Vengence
Spider-Man Powers and Abilities
Bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker went from a High School Outcast to one of America’s most iconic Superheroes. Fueled by the death of his Uncle Ben, Spider-Man would swing valiantly through the sky, scale the tallest building, and utilize his Spidey Sense to seek out and stop crime. From teen nerd to an icon, Spider-Man is a symbol for everyone.

Here’s Who Would Win
The Web-Slinger vs. The Spirit of Vengeance, now this would be one hell of a fight. This would be a solid and entertaining fight to witness. But I don’t see Spidey doing too much besides being extremely evasive and landing a few blows here and there. It hurts like hell to say, but this is a Ghost Rider win.
Spider-Man has the strength, durability, speed and his wonderful Spidey-Sense to give Ghost Rider a good challenge. But while all of those abilities are superb, his most valuable superpower is probably the most useless in a battle against Ghost Rider. His webs wouldn’t be too beneficial here now, would they? The Spirit of Vengeance would burn right through them with ease. He still has his speed, he could still zip around and run up buildings, but Ghost Rider would be in hot pursuit and probably chain his ass into a wall at blazing speeds.
Ghost Rider has some impressive abilities, far more than the ones on the surface. When he’s truly heated he could breathe and piss fire, set any weapon of his on fire, summon his wacky motorcycle at will, increase in size, and even raise the dead. But Ghost Rider’s greatest ability is that of his Penance Stare, the ability to peer into the eyes of his foes and force them to reflect on every bad deed as well as everyone they’ve hurt. I don’t think this ability would work on Spider-Man because he’s always been a good guy, even prior to becoming a superhero, he’s carried the weight of his mistakes on his shoulders and felt a tremendous amount of guilt over them. If Ghost Rider’s Penance Stare did work against him, then that’s even more trouble for The Web-Head as his psyche would be greatly compromised.
This would be a very physical fight. Spider-Man could use his smarts, but that’s only going to get him so far when Ghost Rider has the power of fire on his side. A scorching hot metal chain will win against organic webbing. Spidey can swing for days and perform attack after attack, his greatest asset here is his webs but they’re essentially useless against Ghost Rider.
Ghost Rider would never kill The Web-Head, I don’t think he’d decimate Spider-Man either. He would do what he had to put the superhero down, exchange a few words, and zoom away on his motorcycle in a blaze of glory.
And The Winner Is…
This is one hell of a win for Ghost Rider. His greatest asset is his fire and he would utilize the hell out of them for a bout against The Human Spider.
