Do you wanna play Space Barbies with us?

Star Wars: The Old Republic recently updated to a new patch, titled Game Update 7.1: Digging Deeper, and the patch doubled the number of Outfit Slots for the Outfitter. We figured we’d check out some cool-looking armour sets.

Some of the armour sets on the Cartel Market can get pretty expensive, so we’ve made a list of the top 15 Armour sets under 1500 Cartel Coins (or about USD15 worth of Cartel Coins) still sold on the Cartel Market today. For all credit values given, the estimates were from the Star Forge server and may vary with different servers.

15. Relaxed Jumpsuit

An armour set that screams powerful and extroverted. The torso piece shows a lot of skin, and the leg piece has a sleek, minimalist design.

  • Great for when you want to play a berserker kind of Sith, especially in RP guilds where there’s more leeway for characterization.
  • It dyes well, with the primary colour taking up most of the pieces, and the secondary colour changing the gloves, shoe parts of the boots, and some padding along the side.

14. Sly Operator’s Armor Set

A classic Scoundrel look, affordable, with a definite Old West inspiration to the clothing while the visor helps bring the ensemble into the space age. While minimalistic, sometimes minimalistic is just right.

  • Perfect for a Smuggler to get the classic look of Han Solo, or for an Imperial Agent masquerading as a Republic asset.
  • The primary dye area covers the shirt and boots, while the secondary colour covers the vest and the gloves.

13. Darth Skotia’s Armor Set

A spiky, exo-suit armour with a classic suit environment regulator similar to Darth Vader’s panel. The back has a large support structure that’s shaped like a spine except made of metal instead of bone, while the rest of the armour screams pneumatic strength enhancement.

  • Though meant for Sith, it can also work great for Troopers as some form of strength-enhancing armour.
  • The secondary colour doesn’t do much when dyed, as only the primary colour affects most of the coloured parts of the suit.

12. Ardent Oracle’s Armor Set

A leather and steel affair for a character that values mobility and some level of anonymity. A hood and mask give this outfit a mysterious look, while the combination of heavy leather and metal armour embellishments provide a badass look.

  • Perfect for the more edgy Jedi characters, and a Bounty Hunter looking to be more mobile can also benefit.
  • The primary dye colour changes the look dramatically, and the secondary colour affects the middle of the mask, the breastplate, the gloves, and the leg bands.

How To Get Ardent Oracle’s Armor Set: 1b+ on the GTN or CC1440 on the Cartel Market

11. Forgemaster’s Armor Set

This is a medieval approach to Mandalorian armour, which is an exotic look in spacetime. The pauldrons, the sabatons, and the helm are all in a style more fitting in a medieval fantasy than a space fantasy, but the light on the breastplate and the tech embellishments on the glove make this appropriate wear around the galaxy.

  • Troopers will appreciate this more retro look, but this works especially well for Bounty Hunters with the Mandalorian helm. The odd Jedi might also give this look a try.
  • Does not have the best dye capacity, as it always leaves some original green leather on, with the primary colour affecting most of the armour while the secondary only affects the breastplate and helm.

How To Get Forgemaster’s Armor Set: 750-800m on the GTN or CC1440 on the Cartel Market

10. Gifted Shadow’s Armor Set

COME OVER HERE! This suit features a futuristic bodysuit and a coat that doubles a bit as a cape. All in all, the outfit gives off a vibe like you’re going to turn into ice and freeze your enemies with it, or open up your rebreather to show a skull underneath that breathes fire.

  • Perfect for Imperial Agents who want to be a little mortal when they enter combat, but Sith may also find the style quite appealing.
  • The primary dye colour affects the bodysuit, the mask, the gloves, and the boots, while the secondary colour determines the accent trim on the coat, the bottom and inside of the coat, and some shin armour.

9. Charged Interrogator’s Armor Set

A futuristic affair with moving orange light effects on the pauldrons, belt, and gloves. It’s an intriguing blend of robe, armour, and tech, as the parts that have light effects pulse repeatedly, and the suit casts light on the environment when in dark areas.

  • More tech-minded Force users will appreciate this tech-minded robe.
  • The secondary dye colour has more of an effect as it covers the borders of most pieces of cloth and the headgear, while the primary colour affects the insides of the torso piece, the pauldrons, the bracers, and the parts of the robe at the back where the light fixtures form a sort of high collar.

How To Get Charged Interrogator’s Armor Set: 700m-800 on the GTN or CC1100 on the Cartel Market

8. Charismatic Mandalorian’s Armor Set

A more traditional and modern Mandalorian set with great armour pieces. The helm is more modern and reminiscent of clone troopers than stormtroopers, while the breastplate and pauldrons scream Mandalorian mercenary.

For the Troopers and Bounty Hunters looking for a more classic look that still stands out.
The primary dye colour will set the mood for this one, as the secondary colour only affects the unarmoured pants of the legs, the waist, the biceps, and the boots.

7. Resilient Warden’s Armor Set

A stylish armour set that commands presence while not being overly ostentatious. A one-colour bodysuit is covered over in light armour pieces that have sleek flowing lines, as well as a skirt that has a tabard effect going for it that especially screams Jedi.

  • An amazing set that can work for any Force user looking to adventure in style, especially it being close in style to Jedi clothing, but it’s so good it can honestly work for any kind of character.
  • This is quite striking to dye and can be made to effect very contrasting moods from heroic to sinister, as the primary dye colour affects all armour pieces and the secondary colour affects all the parts of the inner jumpsuit.

6. Unburdened Champion’s Armor Set

A cloaked armour that leaves parts of the torso and the arms bare to show off your muscles. The cloaked coat that doubles as a cape gives that edgy accentuation to armour that’s meant to be provocative.

  • For Imperial Agents and Smugglers who like to show a little skin, this daring outfit can also work for Jedi who want to flout the puritanical ideals of their Order.
  • The primary dye colour is the only thing to worry about as it affects both the armour and the robe pieces, while the secondary colour is only seen in spots on the hood and the knees.

5. Revanite Avenger’s Armor Set

Strike fear into the hearts of your enemies as you stride into battle ready to slice limbs off. This full bodysuit is edged with strategic gold armour pieces, notably the helm, the greaves, sabatons, and pauldrons, while the cape conjures up an image of a noble hero.

  • While meant for Force Users, the Mandalorian style helm would also make it suitable for Bounty Hunters.
  • This is a treat to dye as the primary dye colour will affect most pieces, while the secondary colour will affect the gloves, the insides of the legs, accents on the boots, helm and pauldrons, and the cloth that slashes diagonally across the torso. The gold bits are unaffected by dyes.

4. Bold Hellion’s Armor Set

A jacket and pants affair for the confident crime lord. With a jacket reinforced with small pieces of light armour that’s worn belt straps in lieu of a shirt, interestingly patterned leather trousers, and lightly armoured boots, this ensemble screams of being part of the criminal underworld.

  • A bold statement for the rough lives Smugglers lead, as the daring bits of skin scream pirate king or noble privateer. Perfect for a space-age Robin Hood.
  • The secondary dye colour makes up quite a lot of it, affecting the top half of the pants, the tips of the boots, the gloves, and most of the jacket, while the primary colour affects the vest opening, a panel on the back, the lower half of the pants, and the bracers.

3. Apex Sovereign’s Armor Set

Nothing says I’m here to conquer than a full set of armour and a cloak that lights up. This armour set manages to look both minimalist and grandiose, with smooth unadorned pieces of armour. The cape lends it an aura of stylishness, and the concealing full helm makes it appealing for a wide range of characters.

  • A great look for Troopers, Bounty Hunters, and Force Users.
  • Another set that dyes extra well, all the armour pieces are affected by the primary dye colour while the secondary colour affects the inside jumpsuit bits.

2. Thexan’s Robes

An understated yet infinitely stylish armoured tunic with gold highlights. It seems to be a set of leather armour that has tunic-like embellishments at the end, and the gold highlights offer a sense of luxury. While it’s originally black, dyeing this piece can radically change the effect it gives, although the gold trim and the style of it, in general, will mean it will always look fashionable.

  • Perfect for the Jedi who want to impress, though an Imperial Agent who relies on their charisma for the job can also benefit.
  • The primary dye colour dominates this set, with the secondary colour only affecting panels in the front and back of the torso, and the sides and backs of the pants.

1. Revanite Champion’s Armor Set

A poor man’s set of Revan Reborn armour that lets you live out the dream while being a bit more affordable. This very much resembles the iconic Revan armour with the hooded Mandalorian helm and the armour over a full-skirted robe, though the gold embellishments lend it an air of luxury that make it atypical for Jedi (too flashy) or Sith (too bright) and as such are perfect for any figures looking to buck the system they find themselves in.

  • Perfect for Sith or Jedi who want to follow in the footsteps of this era’s most notorious figure.
  • Most of the Revanite armour sets seem to dye quite well, and the primary dye module will change this armour dramatically The secondary colours also make quite a statement by affecting the front of the skirt, the cloth around the shoulders and cape, and the gloves.
