14. Noro vs. CCG

Noro fights the CCG.

During the Aogiri arc, at the beginning of the CCG's attack on the Aogiri hideout, Noro waited until his clock showed midnight before he started to act. After the fight between Ayato Kirishima and Kaneki, Noro picked up the "half-killed" Ayato and killed the CCG squad that discovered the pair in the process. Out of all the ghouls acknowledged by the CCG, Noro was considered to be one of the strongest, excluding the One-Eyed Owl and Shachi.

Ultimately, he was cornered by Hinami and Touka and killed as revenge for killing Hinami's parents.

After a short bout of battle, Shinohara successfully cut Kaneki down, damaging his kakuja kagune; however, Kaneki continued on with his usual kagune form, causing the investigator to be annoyed at the number of his kakuhou. Fighting the already-exhausted investigator, Kaneki quickly overpowered him and left him near death.

Noro's shocking regenerative ability made him one of the most formidable ghouls in the series. This is one of the most gut-wrenching moments that deserve a rewatch.

6. Kaneki Ken vs. Ayato Kirishima

Kaneki Ken fights Ayato Kirishima. Starts at 0:15.

When Kaneki confronted Ayato about his false pretenses and true motives for joining the Aogiri Tree, Ayato became offended by this but was in denial, despite the fact that Kaneki was telling the truth.
